Liveblogging the Israeli Elections 2009
Sticky post. Scroll down for new posts and updates.
Welcome to the Israeli Elections 2009 liveblogging post.
I will be blogging throughout the day, and will then be joined by two guests with excellent knowledge of the Israeli political system, who will provide commentary, analysis and answer your questions:
- Professor Barry Rubin is Director of the Global Research for International Affairs (GLORIA) Center and professor at the Interdisciplinary University in Herzliya. He is editor of the Middle East Review of International Affairs (MERIA) Journal and of Turkish Studies. He writes the Middle East column for the Jerusalem Post.
- Jeremy Wimpfheimer is a political analyst and journalist who has lived in Israel since 2001.
I will be providing updates sporadically throughout the day. When my guests and I are able to sit down and do some more intense liveblogging, I will activate the CoveritLive Liveblogging window (exact time to be determined. Currently planned for 4:00PM onwards Israel time, but check back here for possible change of time). I am activating the CoveritLive Liveblogging window now, and my guests should hopefully be joining us later in the day for more intense discussion and analysis.
