The Day In Israel: Wed Apr 15th, 2009

Hello everyone. I’m back after the seventh and final day of the Passover holiday.

Here’s the news I missed while I was eating way too much meat and drinking way too much wine than is good for me.

  • Palestinian terrorists fired a Qassam into southern Israel earlier this evening. I guess after their failed booby-trapped boat attempted terror attack they decided to resort to more traditional methods.
  • The Iranian Foreign Minister blamed Israel for sparking the row between Egypt and Hizbullah.
  • Egyptian police found 900 kilograms of TNT explosives near the Gaza border. Somehow, I don’t think Wile E. Coyote is behind this.
  • A Jordanian court convicted 3 Hamasholes of receiving information that could jeopardize Jordan’s safety and with monitoring the Israeli embassy in Amman, as well as military sites on the borders with Israel and Syria, sentencing them to 5 years in prison.
