In light of the controversy surrounding his report damning Israel, Richard Goldstone* has accepted my invitation to answer Israellycool reader questions.
I will be publishing the questions and answers over the course of the next few days.
You reportedly said you were “saddened” by the recently endorsed resolution adopting your report since it includes only allegations against Israel, without a single phrase condemning Hamas. I notice you did not use the word “shocked.” Is that because you are not surprised, given the UNHRC’s track record of demonizing Israel?
Richard Goldstone responds:
No. I just try to stay away from words like “shock” and “awe.”
