Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas speaks at a ceremony at A-Najah University in the West Bank city of Nablus, Thursday, Dec. 17, 2009. , Abbas said the Palestinians will not accept any peace deal without getting all of east Jerusalem, the sector Israel captured in the 1967 Mideast war and annexed. That includes a holy site claimed by both sides, where the al-Aqsa Mosque sits atop the ruins of the biblical Jewish Temples.

Doesn’t that symbol on the front of the podium look a bit like a Star of David?
