re: Simon Cowell's replacement on "American Idol"–who the hell is Guy Aseary?!!? The buzz here is that Simon Cowell is going to be replaced by Howard Stern. To keep a hot show going, you replace a name with a name, not a nobody. Howard Stern is not only the "King of All Media" he is a proclaimed "half-Jew" and I assume has strong pro-Israel feelings. Plus he hates Randy Jackson, Ellen DeGeneres, and Ryan Seacrest, so he'd give the show a lot of needed heated conflict making American Idol watchable.

They definitely are, our most patriotic citizens. They have given their blood for this country way out of proportion to their numbers.

It was not always so. The French invaded Lebanon to save the Christians from the Druze. Apparantly Israel has a good effect on people.

I would not refer to him as an "Arab". While some accept it, many Druze reject the term, much as Jews from the Arab world refuse to be called Arabs.

The Druze Arabs ever manage to impress me. They need to be given more credit by the Israeli public.

A few random observations:

1. Not only is Abbas a clueless loser, in the video he looks like one as well.

2.The Ha'aretz report contains bad English. Who was arrested and given medical attention on the spot, Margalit or the attacker?

3. Reuters has no shame and hasn't any for a long time. Read the numerous analyses put out by Honest Reporting over the years.

4. I've also heard reports that Howard Stern might be Simon's replacement on American Idol. The need for radio's bad boy to watch his mouth might conflict with his stream of consciousness shtick.
