Much as I wanted to believe what it said (especially the part about Al Haig breaking American law to save Israel during the Yom Kippur War), when I looked at the footnotes (endnotes, technically) and saw the prominence of Hersh, I had to question the whole thing. Probably everything he's done back to Viet Nam should be questioned. BTW, a while back I clicked on your blog in Dave's Blog list. It's really good, not to mention useful for newcomers such as I. That's an interesting way ("no formal diplomatic relations") to describe a formal state of war. (Funny comment on the site, too.)
