Tasteless?

The CNN reporter seems to have tackled this story as if she has a Mossad tennis racket lodged where the sun don’t shine. Tasteless? You be the judges.

Me? I don’t find it particularly funny and a bit obvious, although I wonder if the choice of “frozen peas” was deliberate (frozen peas = frozen peace. Get it?!)

By the way, the CNN report was filmed in a supermarket down the road from yours truly.

  1. Good Lord! I forgot how nutty American 'news' people are- (I'm from Jersey) In any case- what a waste of time- You'd think this guy was a murdered cheerleader. Its Israeli humor, its funny- zehu.

This was AMERICAN? You would think it was the BBC! No wonder nobody watches CNN any more in the U.S.

And they STILL can’t pronounce anything properly! BTW, I’ll be there in a few hours, visiting my Dad (who is visiting) and my old neighbor.

Frozen peas? Maybe they’re Orson Wells fans.

Does anyone know the name of the chain? I would like to give them some business.

Thanks. Was this actually American, or was in CNN Europe, which I understand makes CNN proper look right-wing?

I didn't see anyone dressed up on the buses, unless yuo could my suit and baseball cap (hey, it was black!). Maybe it was the rain.

  2. To the critics of this supermarket commercial (not sure its an ad campaign), I'm reminded of a scene from the movie "Stripes" where Sgt. Hulka tells Francis "Psycho" Sawyer "Lighten up, Francis." I do think Israelis have a sense of humor. And if CNN can cover Tiger Woods, O J Simpson, Michael Jackson and numerous Congressional sex scandals, they surely should be able to cover something as light and frothy as an Israeli supermarket commercial. How else is Wolf Blizer going to show his Israeli bona fides?
