I think it's that way for most people. There's no alternative opinion or story.

I'm less concerned about the Heart than the Hands. (Which, if you think about it, makes sense from the viewpoint of Jewish history.) The Heart I will leave to our Creator.

I don't know why, but Australians seem to take most things seriously. We're an island nation and tend to behave that way with our interest in international affairs also.

I dont see anything particularly suspicious on my scriptchecker. Although there are a few scripts that I dont know what they are for.

I would just recommend using Mozilla and downloading the addon 'NoScript'. That blocks all scripts until you allow them to run. So it's effectively impossible to get a virus.

Thanks, Michael, I appreciate the information. It's always hard to know a public figure's heart on such matters. I'm really not a PC kind of person, but I can't support those who exhibit hatred for whole groups of people based on such things as race, ethnicity, religion or sexual orientation. Unfortunatley, you can't always tell based on a politician's public statements of even his/her actions in the public arena.

For Jim, regarding Hillary's comment, I can't give you more than you will find on Google. (I felt a bit dirty just typing in the words.) Apparently Hillary screamed this at Bill Frey (who was not actually Jewish), the husband of a former aide to her then-boyfriend. There were three witnesses, one who heard it in the next room. You will have to make up your own mind as to whether you believe the sources, for this and other incidents.

(I found the allegations about "Jew boy" particularly interesting. since Leonard Garment in his book Crazy Rhythm recounted how upset Richard Nixon (who did sometimes make anti-semitic remarks in private, although he was probably one of the most pro-Jewish presidents ever) was when the New York Times accused him of saying that. He called Garment over, although it was night, to play the tape to show he did not say it. And the NYT still would not retract.

Personally, I find the attempt to smear Paul Frey worse than the remark, and typical of the Clintons. But I will vote for evil people for office if necessary.

I don't go on Ha'aretz, atleast when I'm paying attention to the links I'm clicking on!

A few months back there was an attempted attack on my system from their home page, some real nasty stuff. Luckily McAfee stopped it from doing any damage but still; very frightening.

It appears their web security is about as half arsed as their journalism.

Thanks for the info, even though I didn't understand all of it. Life is full of risks anyway. To hell with my over-cautious antivirus software. I'm goin' commando.
