Dave, don't forget that the Jewish reputation for cleverness is in the geek area of tehcnology and intellect, law, that sort of thing.
It is not and has never been in the area of assertiveness, PR or anything to do with political nous.

Islamic nutters on the other hand, come from a culture where manipulation, lying and playing people are absolute necessities to survive in a what is usually a tyrannical country where there are few resources except what other people have, therefore thieving and grabbing are also high on the list of survival skills.

Jewish skills and cleverness come from the side of life where human life and individuality is important and creativity/respect for invention is highly cultivated.
Islamic "culture" rewards conformity, murderers, thieves and liars. And they have the oil.

As far as the Hamas threat above goes, I feel some culling of certain personnel is in order.

And yes, julia Gillard is an atheist and anisrael supporter, but unfortunately Kevin Rudd, whi may still get a senior cabinet position, is after a place on the Security Council which accounts for the turnaround of Australian support for Arabs rather than Israel, and also for the increase in Muslim immigrant and support for poor little Muslims in the rhetoric. This may seem farfetched, but the Australian pattern seems a little too similar - though not quite so intense - to the Eurabian pattern for comfort.

Those two ambassador types quoted are complete scum.

I would prefer they stay home than come here and commit sedition. I also would like to engourage a boycott of both our film industry and our theater. Recently two of my colleages, one of whom said that her politics were to the left, said they could not use their theater subscriptions, because the play were so extreme. She also said she could not satnd reading Ha'aretz (the real thing, not the internet garbage) because it is so slanted.

I would have to agree with you on this Jim, but I have found that in our great city of hollywood, we tend to produce the most idiotic minds when it comes to views on international policy. When a rockstar says "the flotilla was a massacre therefore I won't play" its usually a washed up nobody who just wants media attention so that people will maybe think they are still relevant. Guess what pixies? nobody cares. So the fact that these guys are using a very real and scary conflict for their own ends is actually kind of disgusting.

I don't know about you, but when I get disgusted with a celebrity, I find it hard to watch them without being nauseous. Take Tiger Woods for example. I never liked golf but now I really hate it. All because of Tiger(how could you??).

So yeah, when a celebrity shows such blatant disregard for Palestinian and Israeli politics and uses one tiny incident in the mass of incidents over the past 60 years to determine their "playing policy" for the sake of their personal fame, its kind of like a terrorism of its own kind where you sickly manipulate people to pay more attention to you. That's kind of the point of terrorism in a way...manipulate people to pay attention to your cause. But you're right---cultural terrorism might be too strong a word for what these idiots deserve. How about "cultural idiocy"? or maybe "cultural suicide"...yep that's much better.

Its not even really a minority. Its the media, the army, the kurds, the christians, the jews, and secular turks. Turks are afraid of islamic countries because they do not want sharia law and they want to be modern and secular.

Cultural terrorism?!!? That's laying it on a bit thick. While I wish artists would perform in Israel and not give flimsy excuses for cancelling, they have their right to their own views on the conflict. What's wrong with going to a Teapacks concert anyway? Push the button.
