Are there any Israelis left in Gaza anyway to enjoy the hotels? And who built these hotels? Not the Israelis. Check out the amusement parks at which the poor little Gaza children are having fun. They are so starved they have to live on overpriced fairy floss.

as far as research is concerned it’s a shame then that the owners didn.t do a little more
(re-wealth and opportunities in the state of palestine)

I don’t see why this hotel, built by a billionaire and empty of guests (www.metro.co.uk/news/871640-29million-gaza-strip-hotel-struggling-to-attract-any-guests), is any reflection of daily life in Gaza. That’s like seeing a 5-star hotel in Mumbai and assuming the slums must not exist.

And the fact these facilities exist proves my point that Gaza is no "concentration camp." Perhaps the money should be used to improve the infrastructure of the general population?

There are many fine, modern facilities in Gaza City, Dave. That they exist is a testament to the pride and determination of the Palestinian people to overcome the hardships imposed by years of occupation and humiliation.

The Grand Plaza Hotel, had you taken time to do some basic research, is wholly owned & operated by a multinational corporation that specializes in real estate development in high-risk areas. I agree, it is a shame that such corporations do not forgo the short term goal of profiteering, instead of focusing on building up the infrastructure so that Gaza City residents themselves could participate and enjoy the wealth of opportunities for growth in the State of Palestine.

The hotel is in Gaza City, not the remnants of any Israeli settlement. According to the hotel website: "Opened since 2004, Grand Palace is one of the best hotels in Gaza city. "
