Spot on. I think many "people" know this but every time a politician negotiates with a Muslim the final question, in public, should be "what do we do in ten years time when you break this agreement under the direct command of Muhammad".

I'm fine with the first part, but I'm confused about the second. We just read it on the Sabbath; we are commanded to choose Good. That applies to all aspects of life, including thought and speech. Some of this is enforcable in court, and some is not.

How does this differ from Islam or non-Calvinist Christianity?

I agree with the article. I agree with all the comments (even Michael's). I'm not sure this is an experience I've ever had on IsraellyCool. I like it but I don't expect it to last. One question though: I realize the author is Jewish, but who exactly is he trying to convince? Other Jews?
