I suspect we have different reasons for participating on certain websites. I go on to be informed, entertained and to put my two cents in on subjects that interest me. I agree that bloggers who ban people solely for voicing opposing points of view are intolerant and whose sites are probably not worth the time. On the other hand, Dave is quite tolerant of people, especially you, Shy Guy.

I pointed out why LGF' content is full of pulp fiction. I'm not referring to talkback commentary there, from which literally 100s of people were banned for the crime of disagreeing with Johnson. You pointed out zilch equivalents about Atlas Shrugs.

You gripe about comments at AS. Were you banned? Or just appropriately responded to by other people there?

Incidentally, Aussie Dave also bans when the Jew hating trolls post their vitriol here.

I too was part of this group in Ashkelon and Jerusalem as part of the British contingent. The European members of the team were, to a man, touched by the hospitality of their Israeli hosts, tremendously admired the bravery of the young Israelis of the IDF manning the Gaza border, the front line of Islamic jihad against the West and the vivacity and tenaciousness of the settlers in Samaria and Judea. We are all in the same fight to save our homelands and we will mutually support the many friends we have made during this visit!

"Johnson has become an absolute nutcase," Funny, that's exactly my argument against Pamela Geller. Try going on her site and voice an alternate opinion sometime. Even though I enjoy talking to you, Shy Guy, I really don't enjoy being abused. That is what happens at Atlas Shrugged, a site not worth visiting, in my opinion.

That's because you most probably have not commented there disagreeing with him when warranted. Then he'll toss you off, like he's banned hundreds of people who have done nothing more than that.

Just ask Carl at Israel Matzav. Johnson has become an absolute nutcase. You just haven't gotten the attention of his inner squirrel.

I should point out that Charles has been very supportive of Israellycool over the years, and in fact still carries it on his blogroll. I disagree with him on a number of things, but have never had an issue with him.
