Terror Attack: Anti-Tank Missile Fired At Bus
Because nothing says “We deserve a state” like firing an anti-tank missile at a school bus!
16-year boy was critically injured after a bus driving near the Sha’ar Hanegev Regional Council was hit, apparently by an anti-tank missile, fired from the Gaza Strip on Thursday.
The bus was hit in the rear, causing its windows to shatter. The victims were apparently inside the bus. Rescue forces were quick to arrive on the scene to evacuate the victims, and the roads were immediately blocked for fear of additional attacks.
According to Ha’aretz, defense ministry officials believe the bus was hit by a mortar bomb, the boy was 13, and the bus driver was moderately hurt by shrapnel wounds in his leg. The JPost reports that the boy was struck in his head by shrapnel from the missile.
Meanwhile, here’s another reason to give palestinians a state.
One-third of Palestinians support the attack in Itamar in March, in which an Israeli family of five was murdered while 63 percent opposed it, according to a Hebrew University poll released on Wednesday.

I can't help but think that by now there should be a working defense against small rockets, mortars, etc. Like cross referenced VIPER weather radar that instantly pin points the threat and it's path then sends a counter missile explosive or wall of kinetic shells like the Vulcan cannons on Navy ships to stop the incoming projectile.
Or how about high flying eye in the sky blimps that can hang over enemy launch areas to give warning and point blank shoot the the shooters before they launch?
I can't be the only one thinking this. Here's hoping someone is working on this. It's been too many years already!

Carpet bombing the vicinity from where the firing took place is a cheap and effective tool and has proven to be 100% effective in the past.
But you see, every time the Israelis do that the good men of EU have their panties all in a twist, and with the incumbent in the White House being more pink than the pink panther-it won't be long before the worthy men of the "International Community" call for the lynching of the
JewsZionistsIsraelis for having committed the unconscionable crime of protecting themselves.FIFY.
Part of me does worry that, post Libya especially, there will at some point be a call to stop Israel from defending itself by active force. Sanctions, a no-fly zone, even boots on the ground.
-But then the other part of me says that crazy as elitist/Leftist/Jihadists are, they don't have the stomach or the means to do it. And if they tried to use US forces it would cause a HUGE back lash in the US. I could see outright refusal to serve on the part of many US servicemen backed up by a firestorm of protest from civilians.
So, why did Israel pull out of southern Lebanon and Gaza again? Why was Hamas allowed to run in that initial Gaza election?
Sigh.

We will fight to the last man. Some of us will fight in the countries enforcing such nonsense.
