Smoking Gun
Literally.
Israel’s Yediot Ahronot has published photos taken on board the Mavi Marmara last year, showing one “activist” with a gun and another with an automatic weapon.

This is particularly interesting, given those on board denied there were any weapons, despite Israel’s claims. In fact, Israel never found such weapons on board, which suggests the terrorists threw the guns over board. It is also further proof that the commandos lives were in danger, and were correct to act in self defence.
Bonus: There’s also a photo of Israeli Arab MK Hanin Zoabi in the area a minute later.
Last week, she said:
“I will only be able to respond once I have seen the picture. I did not see any armed person standing next to me and similar claims in the past have turned out to be false.”
Looking forward to that response.

Guns or no guns, Israel's response was justified. If I saw my comrades being beaten with pipes I would have stopped shooting only when the ammo ran out. Then I would use the rifle as a club. Turkey wasn't sent back nearly enough bodies. And they should have sunk that boat in the Gaza shipping lanes. Now they'll get to do it all over again.
No. We are cowards.
I;ve always been a fan of Mark Twain and his point of view on Turkey is a;most as relevant today as it was back then-
"I wish Europe would let Russia annihilate Turkey a little–not much, but enough to make it difficult to find the place again without a divining-rod or a diving-bell."
The fact that the people on board had firearms was evident in the days following the incident when this video [youtube vwsMJmvS0AY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vwsMJmvS0AY youtube] was released. Look carefully beginning at 36:00. Notice the firing evident at 36:07, emanating from a lower deck. The person videotaping avoids capturing this on camera for obvious reasons, but if you scrutinize the video carefully, you'll catch some of this firing. Whoever heard of lead being dangerous?
Even if it is proven that the Mavi Marmara was carrying a nuclear warhead, the "peace activists" will keep on insisting that it was on a "humanitarian mission©".A large majority of them-but not all of them-do not consider Jews(they substitute the euphemism 'Israelis' to prove that they are not against Jews, but only against Israelis/Zionists!)human and hence their "humanitarian mission©" precludes any consideration for the lives and safety of Jews.
[...] most notorious example being the 2010, political, non-humanitarian, expired medicine and IHH terrorist-carrying, non-apology-meriting Flotilla), you have to wonder if they even make enough Turkish Lira to break [...]
