The Moonbat Bites

More has come to light on the arrest of Saturday’s Moron of the Day, Lucas Koerner, the 19-year-old American Jewish terrorist supporter who wore a Kaffiyeh and kippa with palestinian flag (hat tip: Peter Parker).

The police said they asked Koerner to stop harassing the marchers, which is not shown on the video. When Koerner refused to give the police his passport, they arrested him for disturbing the peace. The arrest, which involved multiple policemen, was filmed by Palestinian activists.

Koerner said on his Facebook page that as his form of resistance he “went limp.” A video of the arrest shows policemen wrestling him to the ground roughly and forcefully dragging him into a police vehicle, where it took five policemen to get him into the van.

Jerusalem police spokesman Shmuel Ben-Ruby told the Post on Monday that Koerner bit a police officer during the course of his arrest, a fact which Koerner denies. He said the officer’s injuries were from something else.

“The video doesn’t excite me,” said Ben-Ruby. “It was taken after he was told he was arrested, he refused to cooperate with the police, and he bit a policeman, so there’s no reason they shouldn’t arrest him with force.”

not saying that the incident didnt happen as described, however, had lucas assaulted the officer, why was he simply deported and not held and tried?

why make this more complicated than it is?

he was attempting to incite a riot…he was asked for his id…he refused….he was told to leave the area…he refused…he started a mini demonstration, where members attempted to assault officers by spooking their horses…he was arrested…found to be american, and put on the next available plane

he doesnt really care about arabs and their alleged plight…he is an attention ho

many people are arrested in israel every year and are without fuss put on a plane home,it was clear from the vid he put up a struggle.which just shows he spares the truith, and is proberly well rehearsed at it.
why bother with all the fuss/parents turning up,and so on giving this shall we say person/family,any more stage time in front of the cameras.

By the way, they pointed out on mypetjawa that at one point in the video, he starts to say "Allah willing" and then stops himself. He also adjusts his kippah many times.

Is it illegal for a human being to stand on the street in East Jerusalem? Is it illegal for a human being to stand on a pylon in East Jerusalem? Is it legal for a police officer to unilaterally assault (repeatedly) a person who poses no physical threat and is breaking no law? Is it legal for a police officer to arrest a human being for breaking no law? He WAS arrested. He was only trying to create a space for engagement and dialogue. He was trying to do the right thing! Is that a crime in Israel today?

If you do a search for his father, Norman Koerner, you'll find that he is an author at Mondoeweiss.

I assume you need no introduction to know the nature of THAT publication. Poor kid, he's been brainwashed his entire life into thinking that Israelis are evil and Palestinians and Arabs are always innocent. Chances are the entire trip was an idea by his father to join the rest of the moronic political tourists,
