This Is Just A Private Video
Obviously it’s Brian of London here because of three little words: English Defence League. The leader of the EDL, Tommy Robinson, is prohibited by bail conditions from talking to, about, or having any contact with the EDL in the UK. Following charges of assulting someone at an EDL demonstration earlier this year he was given bail conditions that completely restrict his ability to campaign publicly about the creeping islamisation of England. So when he appeared (dressed as a Rabbi or at least a religious Jew) at a demonstration in Tower Hamlets he broke those conditions.
The next day he walked into a police station in Luton and handed himself in. He was then jailed for a week.
I’m not sure if a satellite link up TV interview with Michael Coren in Canada counts as breaking his condition again, but he did that. Particually interesting for Israellycool readers are the questions about the persecution of British Jews by Muslims. Michael Coren has some Jewish ancestry and is originally from North London so his questions are spot on.
Sun TV in Canada did make one little bo-bo in that otherwise excellent interview by including totally unconnected footage of yobs who have nothing to do with the EDL and who the EDL would have beaten up if they’d caught them. The EDL have never caused damage to property at a demonstration and in fact have a policy of picking up litter after themselves.
If that wasn’t enough, he’s now release his on personal video diary blog (because, of course, he’s not trying to communicate with tens of thousands of EDL members).
Right at the end, he simply lays out why the EDL will always support Israel and he’s much more unambigous than virtually any politician in the UK or even the Union of Jewish Students.

End of the day they're a far right group of knuckledraggers who oppose others based on race or religion. As a Jew, it doesn't sit right with me and i am not sucked in for one second by their declared love for Israel. Israel is not even fighting a race war – the Palestinians are – Israel is fighting to simply exist and on its rightful land.
“Israel is fighting to simply exist and on its rightful land.”
What if the EDL is about fighting for the British people to simply exist and on their rightful land, resisting the same kind of Marxist-Islamist assault on their national rights as Israeli Jews are?
As a Jew, it doesn’t sit right with me to condemn an anti-multiculturalist resistance movement. Granted, there may be some or even a lot of shady characters in the EDL, but I don’t really support the EDL itself, only the general idea that each nation has a right to exclusive political sovereignty within its rightful borders (therefore, anti-multiculturalism and opposition to Islamic imperialism), so that’s not my problem.
Finally, for those who get their ideas on the EDL from the British mainstream media, just keep in mind that the MSM anywhere can’t be trusted to tell the truth about the EDL any more than it can be for the truth about Israel.
Being in the UK i know a bit, and they're cunts, we can't be associating with them, we lose all moral ground and play right into the hands of…. the flipside – the UAF – the anti-fascist fascism defenders, the anti-racist antisemites.. usual ""antizionist"" tossers . Us and the Muslims are stuck in the middle of it all.
That said, the UK is changing demographically, i grant you. Don't know what the answer is but its not this thug.
“…we can’t be associating with them,…”
We don’t have to. All I suggested was to leave off condemning them. When we do that, we lose all moral ground and the rest of what you said. Jews can’t fight the threat of Islamic imperialism and at the same time condemn a movement that has the resistance of Islam as one of its core ideals.
“Us and the Muslims are stuck in the middle of it all.”
You lump us and our sworn, mortal enemies in the same group?! We are just about as opposite to the Muslims as can be! Should Britain fall to the hands of the Muslims—which is what the EDL wishes to prevent—it would be open season on Britain’s Jews.
There are some conundrums as to what position is best for Jews to take, but not regarding the Islamic issue. Here it’s slam dunk that Jews should never side with them, their would-be murderers (God forbid).
Its easy to say fuck Muslims, and i've been there, usually after the latest terror attack on Israel, or anywhere else.. Step back from it all and they're not my sworn enemy… i have friends, business associates ets,, but do i trust them as a group — not really. Maybe i'm confused over this, but i can't allow myself to be a racist, thats for the likes of the EDL and the BNP (and the UAF).
My ex-neighbour, a Ugandan Hindu (escaped from Idi Amin) took regular abuse from these dickheads – they'd shout things at him like 'fuck off paki go back to Pakistan etc'… thats the inteligence of these people.
The Talmud gives the answer, "Kabdeihu v'chashdeihu". Honor him (for he may be a reightous person) and suspect him (for he could be dangerous). While I don't think this was said specifically in regard to Gentiles, it is a good rule, both here and in Israel. Treat people properly and respectfully, don't generalize, stay away from bigotry – but watch your back.
You just never know what a person will do when push comes to shove. In Poland, there were Jews who were turned in by their friends, and anti-semites who risked their lives to save Jews.
I am referring in both cases to Polish Catholics. But up here in the North, our Arab neighbors are very friendly; on the other hand, their voting patterns are scary. So it's a good rule. "It" can happen anywhere, but in the meantime, let's not make the anti-semites right.
The enema of my enema is my suppository.
“Step back from it all and they’re not my sworn enemy”
So let me get this straight: In between one terrorist attack and the other, they’re swell guys?
I’ve already admitted that my systematic, calculated prejudice toward Muslims is bound to bring up some false positives. However, weighed against the danger of losing one’s life to a false negative, there’s simply no contest.
“…but i can’t allow myself to be a racist,…”
How far the mind-tentacles of Marxism reach. What they call “racism” is merely sane, rational, healthy survival instinct. Away from the rabbit hole of Marxist terminology, you’re a racist only if you believe a group’s certain mental trait is inborn and immutable. Islam isn’t inborn and immutable. I don’t believe the Muslims have a natural desire to kill us. But I do know that they are brainwashed on the Koranic mandate of world conquest, so I take care accordingly.
the enemy of my enemy is my friend
Not always, but it is both good manners and pragmatic sense not to stand in the way when the enemy of your enemy is duking it out with your enemy. Least of all is it appropriate to side with your enemy in such situations. Jews who side with their would-be Islamic murderers in crying “Islamophobia!” are the most contemptible of all.
Very good interview by Tommy Robinson. Very direct and honest.
I would love to know how many EDL members were involved in the riots in the UK this summer just to show how thuggish they are…
(Michael Coren? From Ilford? Spurs Supporter?? He would be my neighbour!!)
Loads were involved remember – they went out on day 2 to protect the streets from the 'coloureds'…
A small corection.
Michael Coren is a practicing Catholic but had one Jewish parent.
He is quite pro-Israel but is not loath to see the other side.
He is worth watching.
