Now That’s Rich Coming From Silverstein
In a recent post claiming Binyamin Netanyahu threatened the licenses of Israeli media which published the list of wealthiest Israeli politicians, DouchebloggerTM Richard Silverstein cannot resist some snide remarks.

Tonight another major breaking story fresh from the Land of Milk, Honey and the Filthy Rich as reported by a confidential authoritative Israeli source.—-
The wealthiest on the list was deputy prime minister Silvan Shalom, whose wife, Judy Nir Mozes, is a part-owner (12%) of Yediot Achronot. He’s worth over $40-million which, on the scale of your average Knesset member, is gargantuan wealth. Most of his lucre comes from his wife’s family.
This is rich (for want of a better word) coming from an unemployed bum whose sole source of lucre is his wife.
Update: If you read the post and comments, you’ll notice this is another example of Silverstein showing he is completely unreliable.

I’ve updated the story after hearing from Dvorit Shargel who first reported it yesterday. I’ve updated even further when I realized I hadn’t gotten one part of the story my source gave me quite right.
For how long are people going to trust this man and his so-called “sources”?

Despite the intricacies of translating from Hebrew would anyone actually jam a ‘C’ in there? I’ve certainly never heard it said like that.
No, that is correct. “Yediot Achronot”, “latest news”, our largest fish-wrap. The hawker offered it to me a the bus station for one shekel; I refused.
Given the prechant in Hebrew to change “yi” into “iy” (as in Isaac), the hawkers used to see it by screaming out “Idiot”, whioh is especially cute as the English word had already made it’s way into Hebrew.

The really funny part is that “idiot” is the biggest paper in Israel, and, unless I am wrong, is part of the standard MSM rant against the “tycoonim”, pushing Israel’s media-driven version of OWS.
