Mel Gibson’s Maccabee Screenplay

Late last year, I posted about Mel Gibson’s plans to produce a movie about Judah Maccabee, the Jewish warrior who defeated the Greek-Syrian armies in the second century B.C.
Now it has emerged that West Wing actor Joshua Malina has been sent the first page of Mel’s screenplay.
Imagine my shock when a friend who works at Warner Bros. secretly e-mailed me the first page of Mel’s screenplay for his film. I had misjudged! If the movie’s opening is any indication, Gibson’s approach is balanced, historically accurate and celebratory of Jewish bravery during trying times.
Heh.

I can’t see this going well.
If the film is successful then it’s proof of a worldwide Jewish conspiracy, if it fails then it’s because the Joos have it in for Mad Mel.
mel gibson is his own worst enemy.
but of course he can always blame it all on the boozzzzz.
after his previous rantings i wonder how many jews he expects to buy a ticket,you can’t just insult us and expect us to say it’s ok all the time.
we have rights as well and one is not to be insulted when you want our backing or ticket money.
and if he decides not to blame the boozzzzz again he can always blame us jewwwwws, whats new.
