Republican candidates Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich come out strong for Israel.
In other news, there are Republican palestinians.

I think both Newt and Mitt have accurately devined the reality that there are practically no Republican voters of Palestinian descent in Florida or anywhere else in the U.S. Although I agree with much of what both of them said on Israel. Of course, they’ve got it all wrong when it comes to Obama, but that’s to be expected.
The only thing they got wrong on Obama is that they crapped out on calling him a Socialist.
Since when is that an insult? I could understand if they called him a Communist.
I prefer the term fascist.
No, hes correct about the Mass Murdering Obomba.
In an effort to humanize the remaining Republican presidential candidates “The Daily Show” (or was it “The Colbert Report?”) showed their baby pictures. Ron Paul’s was an oil painting of what appeared to be Pres. James K. Polk.
Gingrich gave a much better and more coherent answer that Barack Kerry, I mean Willard Mittens Romney. Needless to say, both of them are flipfloppers, morally repugnant, and would sell out America and Israel for a wooden nickel. They say all this nice stuff now, but if anyone really believes these stooges, I feel sorry for those people.
The only man up there who has stood for over 30 years for Israels right to self defense and manage its own affairs without US or UN or any interference. That man is Ron Paul. Yes, he is mistaken about Israeli history and needs to articulate his views on this better, but he is the best candidate for Israel. You know what you are getting and you know its better for Israel in the long run.
Santorum might also be good, but hes unelectable and unpredictable.
Assuming Ron Paul’s current words have validity beyond election promises. I said it once and I’ll say it again: I don’t trust him not to try to improve America’s relations with the Muslim world on Israel’s expense. Of course, that is not to say I trust any other candidate better, but I’m telling you it’s not advisable to take politicians’ words on face value.
Anyhow, Juvanya, this is all theoretical, because his chances of presidential candidacy, let alone becoming president, are miniscule. He’s a Ross Perot rerun, nothing more.
Well the fact that his views are backed up by over 20 years of consistent votes should say whether he believes what he says. How can you trust the others who will say anything to get elected and have changed their views repeatedly? Romney and Gingrich should be Democrats the way they acted in the 2000s.
He will improve relations with other countries, but in no way at anyones expense. His focus will be allowing trade with anyone who wants to trade. He will end the embargo with Cuba and let natural events bring down the Castros. This doesnt mean he will engage with Iran or Cuba or Hamas and conspire to destroy Israel. Thats not how he works. All he will do is allow trade and work on bringing the troops home and dealing with issues here.
You absolutely can take politicians on face value if they have something backing it up. Ron Pauls friends and enemies agree on one thing: hes consistent. Why would this suddenly change?
He has a greater chance than you think. Becoming the nominee is a delegates game. He is thought to have secretly won most delegates in Iowa because Santorum, et al had no campaign operations. Ron Paul supporters volunteered to be Santorum, et al delegates. SC and FL are Winner takes all, so he didnt really bother, but the caucuses are coming up and word on the street is that hes already winning the Maine caucuses. No one but Romney had the money to campaign in any of these states and Romney isnt really campaigning there. Hes been in SC and FL.
Hes similar to Ross Perot, and something Americans increasingly want. The meme was always “Ron Paul has that eternal 5% support”. Then it became 8%, then 10%, now its 12-4%, and knocking on 15-20%. The RPs speak sense, but the media and status quo doesnt want to hear it, so they scare you with bullshit like “Hes crazy” and “Hes antiIsrael”.
I’m not a mental health professional so I can’t say authoritatively that Ron Paul is crazy. However, he does SOUND crazy. He wants to do away with the CIA. He wants to abolish the Federal Reserve and replace our monetary policy with the gold standard. 9-11 Truthers, who he will not denounce, are an integral part of his base. He wants to reduce the federal budget by one trillion dollars, the first year. He wants to unilaterally abrogate multiple multi-national and bi-national treaties. If we elect Ron Paul president, we the American people should get our heads examined.
It just amazes me how the most sane, honest, and humane person is commonly called “crazy”. The media has really done a workover on the American people where printing trillions of dollars to destroy the value of the dollar and sending our defense forces off on adventures to kill hundreds of thousands of people is all seen as “sane”.
There is nothing wrong with getting rid of the CIA, which is a terrorist organization. It doesnt do anything productive and has gotten us into all sorts of trouble. 9/11 can be blamed squarely on CIA operations in 1953 and the 1980s. They havent ever done one good thing to advance this country. You sound like a perfect fit for the Republican Party, as a neocon. Im sure you even put z303 in his place by out-neoconning him.
The Federal Reserve caused the Great Depression and the current recession and has destroyed the lower classes with its excessive money printing and interest rate dickering. You need to do some research, good sir. And you can start here: http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/archives/10-things-that-every-american-should-know-about-the-federal-reserve
Ron Paul does not support a gold standard. You are clearly a mindless zombified product of the media, because any simpleton with googling skills would know that Ron Paul supports free banking and currency competition. It is thought that this would result in gold and silver-based currency. He supports no standard, whether debt-backed or gold-backed.
He has repeatedly denounced them and you are just proving your mindlessness even more. Time to shutoff CNN and MSNBC, James. And they are a minor part of his base really, but theyre quite vocal. Go watch Bill Maher. Of course youd probably think that one incident makes Bill a truther too.
Good, half the country agrees with that. There is an over one trillion dollar budget deficit that was created by Bush and exacerbated by Obama. There is no reason for the Federal Government to be so bloated. Billions upon billions are wasted on all sorts of useless stuff like blowing up countries, turtle tunnels (and I sure love turtles), and imposing idiotic one size fits all standards on every public school in the country. If the budget were cut by that much, the economy would improve significantly.
Good, those treaties abrogate our rights. Go read about ACTA, sweet feet.
I think you need your head examined. Too much fertilizer and pesticides have stifled your brain capacity.
No, I don’t think so at all. Ron Paul has been dodging continually regarding these issues. He also gives fake constitutional arguments. I don’t think we have any idea what he would do when getting into office.
Romney may have moved with the political currents, but one can pretty much figure out his range. Paul and Gingrich (to a lesser extent) could do anything.
Of course, I’ll vote for Santorum if he’s still in there.
He absolutely has not been dodging. Hes said the same thing every time. “Ill end the aid to all and leave Israel alone.” He does not give fake arguments. He gives the correct arguments that adhere to the plain and obvious meaning of the constitution. If you cant trust 20 years of consistent voting and 30 years of consistent speech, I dont know why you even bother to involve in politics.
No you cant figure out anything about Romney. He goes with the tide. You worry about the State Dept? Romney looks very manipulatable. We have no idea what Romney will show up in the White House. Same with Gingrich, who has no principles at all.
Santorum has his own whole heap of problems, but hes marginally better than those too opportunistic goons. In any case, he helps us probably by remaining in there.
A socialist is simply a Marxist without a Kalashnikov.
