Hillary Clinton To Meet With Avigdor Lieberman
I recently reported that Obama administration officials were quoted by Israeli media as saying that they did not want to be photographed with Israel’s Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman. Yet at the same time they had no qualms being photographed and meeting with the anti-Semitic and anti-American leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood.
At the time I wrote:
Lieberman is the foreign minister of Israel, America’s strongest and most reliable ally in the region, thus US officials should be prepared to meet and take photos with him, especially if they are willing to meet with the anti-Israel and anti-American Muslim Brotherhood.
The Obama administration still has time to schedule a meeting before Lieberman arrives, however, should they refuse to meet with him they will be making a move that will surely cause problems with a key Democratic constituency with which they already have problems.
Barak Ravid is now reporting in Haaretz that Lieberman will meet with US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton during his upcoming visit to the United States.
For the first time since 2010, Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman will meet with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in Washington next week.
This is only the second time that Lieberman will be visiting the United States capital since he assumed the position of foreign minister almost three years ago. He is due to depart for the U.S. on Monday, and will be meeting with senior officials in Congress and leaders of Jewish organizations.
Haaretz has found that Clinton was initially supposed to be absent during Lieberman’s visit, or at least that is what the State Department told the Israeli ambassador to the U.S.
Michael Oren. However, Clinton’s plans changed in the past several days and her office notified Israel’s foreign ministry that she does, after all, want to meet with Lieberman.

Circle, circle, dot, dot, dot. I hope she’s got her cooties shot.
You are scum, that’s what you are.
Oh, please. Because I have a disdain for an Israeli politician who is scum himself? What are your criteria for judging people, anyway?
You’re scum. Lieberman’s just a big talker.
Come to think of it, you’re a big talker, too, you scum you.
He’s a big talker and a scumbag, let’s not forget that. Who punches a twelve year-old kid in the face? A scumbag. Who goes into politics to enrich himself? A scumbag. What kind of person is unable to overcome his personal biases and allows them to affect his performance on public policy issues at his country’s detriment? A scumbag. I thought you were at least politically sophisticated enough to see through people like Lieberman. You are at least supporting someone who is principled and actually believes in something bigger than himself. For this I would not call you scum. I would call you a boob since Moshe Feiglin’s success would destroy Israel’s relationship with the US. You and your Zion Truth alter ego.
All I heard was I hate Jews I hate Jews I hate Jews I hate Jews I hate Jews I hate Jews I hate Jews I hate Jews I hate Jews I hate Jews I hate Jews I hate Jews I hate Jews I hate Jews I hate Jews
Of course you would because you do not know me. You want to change the subject by making ugly accusations. Your comments are beneath contempt.
He actually doesn’t hate Jews. I wouldn’t call him pro-Israel, but he isn’t anti-Israel either. One of those people who wants to help you against your will.
Thanks for your qualified support. I do view some of you with an intense level of devotion to conservative politics kind of like having an internet porn addiction, so from that perspective, I’m more than willing to do whatever I can to help out.
Well, he was an early supported of a Palestinian state, so I guess you have a point. Right now, he would be doing Hilary a favor, not the other way around.
P.S. Actually, I hate Likud so much at this point that if you told me Feiglin would destory Likud, I would escpecially vote for him. But, alas, you have to be a member for a year to vote in a primary. Besides, my Dad was visiting that day.
