Doucheblogger Outdouches Himself

Richard Silverstein’s reaction to today’s atrocity committed against Israeli tourists in Bulgaria:

At the time of this tweet, it was reported everywhere that 7 Israelis were killed, not 4. So he either deliberately reduced the number or is once again demonstrating his sloppy fact-checking.

Plus note how he’s suggesting Iran has been suffering so much (presumably because of us), and only now we join them in suffering,

Many wars, hundreds of terror attacks and tens of thousands of dead Israelis later.

This man is beyond the pale.

Update: He’s now comparing the killing of Iranian nuclear scientists working on a bomb to destroy Israel with the murder and maiming of Israeli tourists, including teens and a pregnant woman.

  1. Kruvit says:

Is this dumbass equating the killings of pregnant women and a little girl to that of an Iranian nuclear scientist?
    The guy is an idiot

  2. anonimo says:

Not to mention that he is comparing scientist that are working on nukes to kids on vacation.

  3. Lloyd S. says:

Funny, I just commented on Yahoo that only a moral retard could see the killing of nuclear weapons scientists building an a-bomb directed at your country with the killing of innocent tourists. Guess I knew what I was talking about…

  4. Hundra the Warrior Woman says:

Bloody hell, is he trying to justify this?

  5. dcdoc says:

You’re understating how reprehensible he is.

We can argue till the cows come home about whether the Iranian regime is evil incarnate, or whether Iranian scientists are legitimate targets for terror attacks by Israel, or whether Iran’s alleged pursuit of a nuclear bomb permits such attacks against them. But the fact of the matter is that Iranians are just as human as Israelis or anyone else. When the PLO attacked Israeli athletes at the Olympics, the Mossad tracked down every one of the Palestinians (except one) and murdered them. Israel has just a finely tuned need for revenge as Iran. Further, Iranian blood is no less red (to use a Talmudic phrase) than Israeli.

And this is just RS being RS, nothing inconsistent. Have a look at his response in years gone by to the murder of Jews in his own city of Seattle, in Mumbai, in Toulouse.

  6. Daniel says:

The insanity of such near-criminal behavior is very, very troubling. Doucheblogger doesn’t begin to describe this cretin.

    There are others.

For instance, I’d like to know why the Israel news media is not reporting on violinist Nikolaj Znaider. He carries an Israeli passport, appears often with the Israel Philharmonic, has parents whose relatives made it through the holocaust—and, I read today, is right now, this very minute, appearing in Venezuela, a country that broke off diplomatic relations and wants Israel to disappear from the face of the earth.

Given what’s going on right now in Venezuela, why is Znaider appearing there? And why is the news media not reporting on this? And why does the Israel Philharmonic keep engaging this guy?

Crazy, crazy times, filled with crazy, crazy people.

  7. Benny says:

He’s just so boringly predictable. When innocent Jews are murdered anywhere in the world he’ll first say he doesn’t approve of it, and then will swing into his moral relativism.

Is there a moral equivalence between the massacre of random tourists and targeting scientists actively involved in building nuclear bombs for a country whose threats to use them are not veiled (ironic– their women are veiled, but their threats are not)?

I can only look into my own soul and say the former I would never do. The latter I hope I never have to do, but if I became convinced that terminating a nuclear scientist’s life was necessary to save hundreds or thousands of other lives, I would do it — regretfully, with much sadness for the man and for his family, and I would be traumatized for the rest of my life.

I think people like Richard Silverstein, who is widely quoted in the anti-Israel media, inadvertantly incite people to murder of Jews/Israelis.

    • dcdoc says:

“When innocent Jews are murdered anywhere in the world he’ll first say he doesn’t approve of it, and then will swing into his moral relativism.”

It would have been more correct to say, “When innocent Jews are murdered BY MUSLIMS anywhere in the world ON ACCOUNT OF THE FACT THAT THEY ARE JEWS (Silverstein will) first say he doesn’t approve of it, and then will swing into his moral relativism.” RS doesn’t note the murder of every innocent Jew in the world, not even every innocent Jew murdered by Muslims (e.g., Ilan Halimi http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ilan_Halimi), but I challenge anyone to point to an example of RS showing anything like a similar disregard for the lives of Muslims. If you can, please call my attention to it.

      • Benny says:

        Good point.

I just peeked again at the thread on his blog, and am not surprised to see that RS is now again openly comparing Israelis to Nazis (a frequent theme of his) and to Iranians:

        Obscene Quote #1

What is a “perceived threat?” Hitler saw the Jews as a “perceived threat.” Did that justify eliminating them?

(i.e. Israel has no more right to act against a “perceived” terrorist than Hitler had to murder the Jews.)

        Obscene Quote #2:

Israel is just as guilty as Iran (IF Iran committed this act).

The man is an apologist for murder of innocent Jews — and he libels Israel.

        • dcdoc says:

Maybe you will join me in performing a public service. I think RS is a prime example of the most vile sort of Jewish psychopathology and that it would be helpful to compile a “best of” his deranged and hateful utterances. For example, I mentioned before his treatment of the murders of innocent Jews (not just Israelis) in various places around the world (not just in Israel), but there are probably some more in addition to Seattle, Mumbai, and Toulouse (e.g., Buenos Aires), and some more he hasn’t deigned to mention at all (e.g., Halimi in Marseilles, the mention of whose name made RS angry!). And a great deal more that would be well-suited for a catalogue of the “best of” RS. (I think I once read RS mocking Jews for their obsession with the Holocaust, speaking of our “precious Holocaust,” but I haven’t been able to find out. A compilation of the “best of” RS would include that sort of thing, making for something of a rap sheet in his case.)

How about it, want to help with such a project, one that others would be welcome to assist with, and will Aussie Dave “host” it? (Aussie Dave has done a great service as far as RS is concerned with his periodic postings noting RS’s outrageousness. What I have in mind is an assembling of all the outrages over time, especially the most representative and telling of them. And the most absurd of RS’s absurdities, like his insistence that he is a Zionist. Words like “deluded,” “deranged,” “hateful,” “odious,” etc. aren’t adequate to characterize him.

[And you are right about RS' backdoor approach to analogizing Jews/Israel to Nazis/Nazi Germany. He says he will not allow commenters to liken them, but then he does it in just the way you have noted. The guy is truly a piece of work.]

          • Aussie Dave says:

Please don’t give me more work to do. You want a “best of” Silverstein? It already exists here: http://www.israellycool.com/?s=richard+silverstein

          • Benny says:

            Good idea.

I agree that it is time that RS was investigated more seriously and methodically.

Is there a way that we can both be able to access and work on a document online (and give permission to others)? Perhaps Google facilitates such a thing?

And Aussie Dave — thank you for the service you do to the intellecually honest, moral, open-minded community.

            • dcdoc says:

I’m sure there is a way “to access and work on a document online (and give permission to others),” but I don’t know how to do it. If Aussie Dave were agreeable, he might start a thread for this “dedicated” purpose and we could see about a collaboration. For example, we might agree upon some categories, e.g., RS’s responses to the murders of Jews by Muslims; RS on Zionism; RS’s attacks on pro-Israel individuals (“hasbarists”); etc.

If you would like to discuss this directly between us, e-mail radamsey1 at gmail dot com.

          • Jonathan says:

What also needs to be shown is how RS turns every Palestinian terrorist killed by the IDF, or injured or arrested, into a completely innocent person murdered by Israel. In other words, he himself eliminates as much context as possible in such incidents, and always makes sure to use a “happier times photo” with the terrorist and his family. Whenever truly innocent Jews are murdered, though, he keeps it as impersonal as possible, with no photos of the individual victims smiling in happier times, and then tries to add as much “context” as possible based on a sickening moral relativism.

          • Rachel says:

This is a good idea, and I suggest expanding it, to include his nazi commenters, some of hom are nown and others who post anonymously.

They need to be named and shamed and their real life identities shown to the world. There are regular anti semites and jew hating nazi trash masquerading as anti Israel. They’re probably all radical jew hating leftists and ‘palestinians’.

            • dcdoc says:

Let me suggest as a starting point RS’ comments on the Holocaust. He won’t allow Holocaust-denying comments, but he thinks Jews exploit that experience for cynical purposes. I think I recall, but haven’t been able to go back and find, RS mockingly referring to our “precious Holocaust.” If you can find it, or comments like that about our “use” of the Holocaust, it would be very helpful. RS regularly says offensive things, but this would be right up there with the most outrageous.

  8. Stop the Kapo says:

I am terribly sad that Little Dickie Kapostein was NOT among the riders on that bus. After all, Iran could have solved the problems for Seattle concerning one of the city’s worst spies, terrorists, molesters and offenders.

  9. Kapodickie says:

    kapodickie dot blogspot dot com/2012/07/kapo-dickie-defends-and-celebrates.html

  10. Ken Kelso says:

In response to the terrorist bombing in Bulgaria, Abu Mazen and Hamas pledged they would do everything to fight terrorism. To show how serious they are.
Fatah and Hamas announced Thursday it will reduce its workforce by 200 to 300 at its commercial bus bombing division and restaurant theater operations.
Haaretz and Kapo Dickie will then say, this proves how moderate Hamas and Fatah are.

  11. Morris the Katz says:

A douche bag serves a useful purpose, although these days the Dept. of Health and Human Services recommends against their use.

Richard Silverstein serves no useful purpose at all.

  12. ShlomoAv says:

Richard Silverstein has commenters who are nazis, jew haters, who pretend to be anti israel.

The little nazi Deir Yassin’s comments make you want to spew. I’d wager a million bucks, he is funded by these Israel haters.

    • dcdoc says:

I believe that Deir Yassin, who is one of RS’s claque, is a “she,” not a “he.”

      • Rachel says:

        dcdoc,

You’re correct. I have followed dickies lies for over 3 years now. Deir Yassin is a troll at many anti Israel sites, 972.mag, I’m not sure what her real life identity is, or even if she is a woman in France as she claims. Her mother was a ‘palestinian’ refugee. There are no ‘palestinians’. A motley crew of Arab tribes moved to Israel, the land G-d gave to us.

It really is as simple as this, the ‘palestinians’ are the occupiers, and have been since their Caliph stole the land from the Byzantines. They should have given it back to it’s rightful owners the Jews. Since they chose to squat on land which even their own Allah says he gave to Jews, they are paying the price for occupying our land.

Kapodickie is probably funded by his readership, mainly bitter ‘palestinians’ who want Israel gone, and yes, Deir Yassin is one of those bitter old women who think Israel owes her a living, she is most probably one of dickie’s funders. She claims her mother was from Acre in Israel, and she still has relatives there. She is an anthropologist or so she claims. She wants to flood Israel with ‘palestinians’, says Israel should not have come into being, and that Mizrahi Jews didn’t want an Israel. Any old crap and lie, for their fabricated story of victimhood.

Maybe she should be telling dickie to give his Seattle home to the native Americans as opposed to European settlers.

It is time for Israel to deal with this modern day nazi menace appropriately. The military needs to go back to it’s glory days, like when the miracle of the the six day war, stunned the world.

Hashem gave the land to us, and hostile enemies who don’t want to see a Jewish Israel have no place in our land.
