My name is Gaia and I’m the owner of IsraelitKan.
I live in southern Israel surrounded by lots of sand, rocks, and hills.
I’ve been participating for some years on international discussion forums advocating our right of self-determination as a country, defending Israel and answering as much as I can claims defaming my home.
Dave asked me some days ago if I would like to contribute as a poster on Israellycool. Of course I accepted. I felt honored by his proposal and I will contribute to this site sharing my views and experiences.

Whats it like down there?
Ive considered living in Arad or somewhere there, but I cant stand the heat, so Im more drawn to J town, where I can happily shiver in late June at 11pm outside Merkazit, or the Golan.
Heat is everywhere by this time of the year all around.
Desert is drier thought… but hot hot hot.
Waiting for the Winter to come
Yea I was on a tour thru all the usual places in the winter. Its nice down there in winter. very tolerable. I just cant handle heat like that. Altho perhaps with the right outfit… (I happen to like ancient Israelite dress…well most ancient dress, robes and all)
