Say What You Want About Fox News

While other news organizations were still entertaining the possibility of an innocent bus explosion, Fox News wasn’t afraid to ask the question that needs to be asked.
For what it’s worth, I’m pretty sure the answer to the question is “yes.”

Gutsy headline!
FYI: guess how the news is reported in Australia. It isn’t. I switched on channel 9 after I read about it on Israellycool. There was the item of “5 most tweeted videos” – you know, water skiing squirrels and such, then local news, a fire and Greece, and onto sports and weather. My husband checked the newspapers’ headlines: I think he said the Australian mentioned it (Murdoch). Nothing in The Age (Fairfax)or the Herald Sun. Apparently not newsworthy!
I think most of your readers are Fox viewers. Me, I take it on a case by case basis. I think theres a sort of derangement syndrome, to quote Krauthammer, with Fox, and Ive coined
That headline is fairly juvenile and tabloidy. A better one for an unbiased journalist would be “Seven Israelis killed in suicide bombing of bus in Bulgaria; Iran suspected”. A journalist should never take the word of a government as fact, a concept completely lost on 1 May 2011.
These are the first lines from the only report I could find on the terror attack in Bulgaria in the Melbourne Age, by Ruth Pollard:
“Israel has threatened to “settle the account” with those responsible for an attack that left at least six people dead and dozens wounded, most of them Israeli tourists…..”
She then describes the responses of Netanyahu, Ehud Barak, and Hillary Clinton. Only then, does she give a description of the events of the attack.
Instead of focusing on the fact that innocent people, holidaymakers, were murdered, for being Israelis, the article starts with bringing up the image of the vengeful, blood-thirsty Jews.
