Excuse Us If It’s A Little Quiet Here
Israellycool Dave asked me to post a short note explaining why he’ll be a little quiet for a few days. Dave’s wife is undergoing an operation and he’ll be at her side and looking after their children. If you are inclined to pray, her Hebrew name is Eta bat Chava Eta.
For my part I have happier health news involving a new nephew and this will also cut into my blogging time as I pick up a little more child care and other duties as my wife spends time with her sister.
Thank you for sticking with us.

Hope all goes well with you guys. I guess I’ll have to seek out outlets other than IsraellyCool for my passive-agressive impulses.
Corn stalks can be bouncy…
The corn is as high (and as dry) as an elephant’s eye, oops, I mean graveyard.
All the best to you and Dave.
Unfortunately, it’s not quiet over at the Douche Blog — where one writer just posted that “abuse and other forms of sadism” run rampant in Israel due to its “racist and Apartheid intolerant culture with it’s (sic) outlets of abuse towards the Palestinians as inferiors/subhumans.”
Israeli individuals, “blind or even fanatic” due to “whipped up indoctrination” by the IDF have “sadistic personalities,” abusing Palestinians and eventually even their “own children and co-religionists.”
Israelis are “sick and abusive towards Palestinians… Israeli Apartheid over Palestine psychologically traumatized generations of Palestinian children and physically harming them (sic) as well… Israeli ethnic cleansing takes a psychological toll.”
The conclusion of this diatribe is that everything he claims is true, but Israelis will never discuss it because it “takes the charm out of occupation.”
Wow. He got in all of his favorite hate jargon in a single short entry!
When you and Dave have time again, please hurry back and continue fighting the ignorance and lies that flourish in anti-Israel hate sites like Tikun Olam.
I’m wishing both of you all the best.
I hope that everything goes well for your wife Dave and she makes a swift and complete recovery.
Brian best of luck as well, I had the great pleasure of seeing my newly born Great-great Nephew last Sunday.
She will be in my thoughts and prayers.
Dave: Sending healing thoughts and prayers to your wife’s way for a speedy recovery.
Brian: Congratulations! my warmest regards to you and your family.Mazal Tov!
רפואה שלמה והחלמה מהירה
May Mrs. Dave make a complete and speedy recovery.
My prayers go out to Dave’s wife. May she be blessed with a speedy recovery.
As for you, mazal tov!
Dave, wishing your wife a speedy רפואה שלמה.
And mazal tov to Brian. Lots of nachas to the whole family.
You are in our prayers. All the best!
I’ll be praying for Dave’s wife, may she have a speedy recovery.
Good luck to you too, Brian.
I used to follow Israel Insider, until that went down, does anyone know why? And now it seems Israellycool will be gone for a while.
Anyone recommend any other good places?
I pray for health for you and your family. I hope you will take a look at this story about 1972 Olympics and publicize it.
