Matzah ball soup is actually an Eastern European dish. My Romanian friend recognized it as something I forget the name when she visited during Passover.
“Knaidelach”?
She may love matzo ball soup, but can’t standing liver? Has she ever tried it chopped, on rye bread?
I think she’s probably talking about beef liver. I know. I speak Goyim. Braised liver and onions is a lost art. Nobody makes it anymore.
