That’s the question I’m often asked about my Better Place car. It’s 350km to Eilat and if my car can only do 120km on each charge, how do I get there.
So I made a video to show you how the in car navigation system in the Better Place car does all the maths and works out where you have to switch batteries so you don’t have to.
In case you didnt see it before, a new Better Place station was inaugurated days ago by the Mayor of Eilat and Better Place managers, close to Eilot Kibbutz, at the entrance of Eilat.

Actually the 3rd leg from Dimona to Sapir is mostly down hill. from ~550 asl to a minimum of -240 bsl, then up again to -20 bsl.
From Sapir to E(i)lat will take you up to ~250 asl before going back down to 0.
