After forming a new Qassam group to explode tunnels under the check points such as “Hardon location” in Rafah, Ayed left his brothers from Al-Qassam Brigades in many successful operations
The occupation forces tried many times to assassinate Ayed but failed in each try. In the first time, the Israeli apaches shut his car but it didn’t explode, so he survived. In the second time, he had a hard electric shock and either he survived. But in September 05, 2006, while he was driving his car with his friend, the occupation forces shot two missiles at his car. He martyred immediately. By that, a man, who had a hard well, had gone after along fighting with the occupation forces.
