Silverstein’s ignorance of the Bible is staggering.

In the blog entry you cite, Silverstein writes, “Biblical history tells of the extermination of various tribes like the… Moabites.”

Wrong again, Richard. The Moabites were never exterminated in the Bible.

In fact, just the opposite. In Deuteronomy 2:9 God tells Moses NOT “to be at emnity with Moab, nor contend with them in battle” — despite the fact that the Moabites had planned to attack and destroy Israel.

But what value is the truth for people like Silverstein who go to any length to incite against Jews three thousand years ago and against Israelis today?

“Demonized in return”???? a) he lives under a permanent death threat and b) he never claimed to make a death threat upon anyone ever. Again, this is quite possibly the dumbest thing ever put to paper in the history of people, ever.
