The Obama Administration Should Really Learn Arabic
This gem comes courtesy of Mahmoud Abbas’ facebook page:
It’s his comments on his dismal failure at this year’s UNGA.
One sentence stands above the rest:
الاعتراف يا أعزائي لن يحرر الأرض في اليوم التالي، ولكنه سيثبت حقنا بأن أرضنا محتلة، وليس أرضا متنازعا عليها، وهو ما ينطبق على جميع الأراضي التي احتلتها إسرائيل قبل حزيران عام 1967.
Which roughly translates to:
Recognition will not happen tomorrow, but eventually it will prove our right to our land that is occupied, and not just disputed territory, but it applies to all territories occupied by Israel before June 1967.
I’ll dumb it down even more for the idiot in the White House:
I want to destroy Israel.
The rest of his J’accuse is the usual demonization of Israel, praising of terrorists, and claiming Jerusalem as the Palestinian holy eternal capital (He really should be more original).
And now you know.
So next time anyone in the Obama administration repeats the old and busted “Abbas’ is a peace partner” lie, point and laugh. Insults about their lack of intelligence or naivety, and a link to this page, will help.

But Judge Dan is correct in that the text he saw

Translates as:
Recognition will not happen tomorrow, but eventually it will prove our right to our land that is occupied, and not just disputed territory, but it applies to all territories occupied by Israel before June 1967.
Which means someone seems to have changed the original posting.
But, alas, the original statement is here, in all of its glory (thanks to Elder of Ziyon for the link).

Please. They are not ignorant of this. They are supportive of this. Obama has decided that a quiet slow motion holocaust will secure his seat among the pantheon of great Muslim leaders or at least people who pretend to be great Muslim leaders.

The UPI article also reports that Abbas wrote about Gaza “which has provided thousands of martyrs.”
