He once was a guest on a South African radio program and a man named Ali called in to ask something like “How can you defend the apartheid of Israel in South Africa?” He asked us how do you respond to that. You can refute it in hours of discussion, but this is a short radio show. He went into it all about what he could have done and spend maybe half an hour talking about it all. He mentioned how the black manager or station owner was there and looked at him “Alright, how are ya gonna respond to that?”

Finally he told us his response. “Well, first of all if I were a black South African who suffered under apartheid, I would be PRETTY ANGRY THAT YOU WOULD TRY TO DILUTE THE SOUTH AFRICAN STORY OF APARTHEID! He said the station owner or whatever gave a jump for joy at that brilliant response and Ali hung up. He never refuted the claim, but he put out the incendiary remark. You really have to hear it to really get it.
