I bet CNN didn’t show footage of the great sacrifice of eid, in which millions of innocent animals are slaughtered in the most inhumane way, often in the public streets with hundreds of people gathered to witness this disgusting spectacle!

The harm is in distorting the time sequence and origin of the events, even if you believe they are only “stories” they are taken very seriously by lots of people, and cited as a basis for geo-political power and legitimacy.

CNN has a long and disgraceful record of putting access to news sources above truth in reporting. One honcho may have resigned over this, but as documented here and in Honest Reporting.com, nothing has changed. Accordingly, it is in Israel’s best interests to warn CNN that if it doesn’t shape up, its offices will be closed and reporters expelled.

I have found the story of Noah’s Ark from the Bible charming (notwithstanding the mass death and destruction attendant to it). I even have a print of Edward Hicks’ painting of this “historic” event hanging in my dining room. But, to me, that is the real point here. Bible stories are NOT history, nor are stories from the Qu’aran. So whether CNN is informing it’s viewers about this Muslim holiday, or the Christmas story or the Jewish Passover tradition, I say “What’s the harm?”
