Pallywood Blondie Story Gains Traction

After I scooped the “Pallywood blondie” story a few days ago, mainstream media outlets jumped on the bandwagon, including Arutz Sheva, Ynet and Israel’s Channel 2.

None of them acknowledged Israellycool as the source (Although, today, the Blaze picked up the story and did link here).

Now the IDF has joined the party with this video.

I won’t lie. It is highly frustrating to do the groundwork and have others basically swipe a story from you. And although I am happy the story has gained traction, fair is fair. I am not paid for my efforts, but I do take pride in them, and – call me old school – I expect simple courtesies like attribution.

I wonder which of these adorable little divas will show up next on Palestine’s Got Talent… ooops, my bad.

On a serious note, this video reminds me of the cartoon (a few years old now) which shows the Israeli soldier fighting in front of a Jewish pram — protecting the child within it — while the Palestinian fights from behind the Arab pram — using the child as a shield.

    Kudos, Aussie Dave, well done!

The Nabi Saleh crowd have posted an “explanation” http://www.youtube.com/watch?annotation_id=annotation_594504&feature=iv&src_vid=oWlxLq-2RQA&v=HRG0LrOIjWk

“The Truth about Al-Nabi Saleh girl”

The last half (it’s very short) shows photos of her running to where the soldiers are (because her brother’s been arrested, says the video), and the caption claims there are no cameras around!

Those amazing Palestinians, able to take photos without cameras.

small potatoes for a “people” that can travel back in time thousands of years to their “native” Jerusalem, etc.
