The BBC Claim Tel Aviv Is Israel’s Capital

This gem slipped under the radar two days ago:

The article itself goes on to explain:

Palestinian militants have targeted Israel’s commercial capital Tel Aviv with missiles fired from the Gaza Strip amid escalating violence in the region.

Stay classy BBC, just like The Guardian.

About Judge Dan

Dan Smith has been exposing anti-Israel fallacies since the first time he opened the world wide web on Netscape Navigator, sometime in the late 90's. His lack of formal journalistic, political and sociological education means he is still capable of objective, unbiased views and opinions. A judge of media, pundits and media pundits.

OK. I have a dog in this fight I admit but I just watched interview with Palestinian “journalist” and MSNBC contributor Rula Jebreal and wanted to plant my foot through the screen. This proprogandist practically begged Hezbollah to get involved and launch precision missles into Israel’s population centers. This is irresponsible to let her go on unchallenged and essentially advocate violence against innocent Israeli citizens. I am furious.

Hezbollah would be, um, one minute North of my family, as the missile (hopfully doesn’t) flies?

    • mzk1

Given that they gave pogrom artist Al Sharpton a show, this wouldn’t be a surprise, would it?

I would trust Bernie Madoff before I trusted the BBC or the Guardian.

In a less cynical time we would call the BBC what it is – an enemy agent, like Like Haw Haw. The penalty for treason in a time of war is of course, death.

Unless (s)he is an Israeli citizen, the term would be “enemy combatant” – you can just kill those.

Now last time Al Jezeera was giving ranging information.

Very much like that great comment by Eric R. on PJ Media. Kudos. (I’ve saved the PJM comment to local storage in case it gets deleted.)

        Thanks for the kind words.

If Israel is not going to take the bold and necessary step of targetting these Euro-terrorists for elimination, she should at least be holding them in detention and putting them on trial for hate speech or fomenting anti-Semitic hatred. I believe Israel does have hate speech laws to that effect.

I don’t agree with such laws, but if your enemies are going to use them, then you have no choice but to use them, too.

Your post is simply amazing. My ideas about Israel coercing the worldwide media to cease its anti-Zionist line and start carrying water for Israel instead as atonement for years of skulduggery are similar, but I’m hesitant to lay them out in more than general lines, while your comment is much bolder.

I’m glad to see Kerstein has gotten less PC than when I used to post on PJ Media (quite a while ago). In any case, your post’s a keeper.

This is actually heart-warming. I can well imagine that even the evil queen from “Snow White” had her soulmate somewhere in the world.

            • ziontruth

Huh? Didn’t we already establish that that’s Shy Guy? Oh wait, you said he’s my doppelgänger, there’s a distinction…

              • Jim from Iowa

Technically, your ideological conjoined twin, but you get my drift.

“I’m glad to see Kerstein has gotten less PC than when I used to post on PJ Media”

Uh oh, spoke too soon. Here’s Harry the Horrible on that thread:

“I advocate a one state solution.
Pitch the Arabs out of Gaza and the West Bank, back into Egypt and Jordan respectively (where they came from), with no return on pain of death. Annex Gaza, the West Bank, and the Golan Heights. Populate and improve the newly acquired lands.
Ready the nukes, and DARE anyone to do something about it.”

            And here’s Kerstein’s response:

            “Please take such comments elsewhere.”

That’s exactly what I was up against from him when I posted on PJM. But he didn’t stop there with me, he deleted my comments. Though, I was much more offended by his DailyKos-like appeals to humanism than the deletions, and I decided that if PJM has editors like him, I wanted nothing to do with them. So it was that I stopped commenting on PJM.

I saved Eric R.’s comment because this kind of Kerstein would easily delete it. Maybe he won’t, but I don’t want the comment to be lost.
