I hope Donald Trump does for Bibi what he did for Romney. The Donald – Buffoon Extraordinaire!

    • Norman B. says:

Be careful of what you wish for. Bibi is a centrist, and voters could go for Naftali Bennett.

      • Jim from Iowa says:

Oh, dear, I never thought that that was even a possibility. Bennett’s Homeward Bound Party (or whatever it’s called) would be far worse than Likud-Betanyahu. What could Israelis be thinking?

        • yakir says:

Israelis are thinking that it’s not up to you to decide what is better and what is worse.

          • Jim from Iowa says:

I couldn’t agree more. It makes my head spin even at the thought of having to make such a decision. Choose well, my friend. But remember, a vote for Likud is really a vote for Livni and a vote for Labor is really a vote for Shas. Got all that?

        • Travis says:

There is nothing even remotely “right-wing” about Netanyahu’s governance. In fact in the 1960′s he would have been the perfect Laborite. Like Nixon, just because the Left hates you does not make you a right-winger.

          • Jim from Iowa says:

My dissatisfaction with Netanyahu has much more to do with some of those in his governing coalition than with Bibi’s personal political philosophy. It does not reflect well on you as prime minister when you have such irresponsible and reckless individuals serving in your government as Danny Danon and Eli Yishai. Netanyahu will have another opportunity to demonstrate how truly centrist he wants the next Israeli government to be. I’m not holding my breath, though.

  2. Travis says:

Is there a leader of a democratic nation who gets vilified more often then Netanyahu now that George W. Bush is gone?
