Who Does not Like Obama?
Many Israelis have been accused of not liking President Obama. Such accusations have appeared in some recent comments at IsraellyCool.
This week in Jerusalem, Israel, special signs were displayed for the presidential visit, many of them are in the area where the presidential entourage will stay.
Small ones of ”Unbreakable Alliance” are displayed above the street signs
and larger ones on the footpaths in the area where they will visit.
As for the gaffiti, it usually appears on ads here, even for movie stars like Johnny Depp, so it is not special for Obama.
Compare the Jerusalem welcome to this response to President Barak Obama’s visit that was filed in Bethlehem:
One does not have to understand Arabic to know that red paint, fire and torches, swastikas and stomping are not friendly greetings.
Who does not like Obama?
Hat tip to Khaled Abu Toameh who bravely shares the real Arab streets with the world.

I don’t like him. I even hate him, to be honest, and for a reason.
and what reason is that?
did he steal your milk money when you were a kid?
I think that his statement “I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction” — not with the West, not even with America — is an enough reason not to be very fond of him. And it’s not the only one.
Me too. I not just dislike him, I detest him and if thought can kill, this imposter would be in hell with Mohammad by now.
I have many reasons, this guy is a creep, he has intention to destroy America. He is a traitor, a Muslim terrorist who wants to harm Israel. He is a hypocrit, a liar, he tried to divide the nation, etc. the list goes on and on..
I’ve pointed this out before (actually many times), but repetition is not the sin I thought it was in the blogosphere, so here goes. No American president gains politically at home by getting involved in the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict. In fact, in a recent poll just released yesterday, a majority of Americans don’t want Obama to get involved in the peace process at all. They want Israelis and Palestinians to sort things out on their own. Americans have definitely picked sides (overwhelmingly pro-Israel), support American tax dollars to aid in Israel’s defense and strongly favor close relations with Israel. They just don’t want their president to get involved in the Middle East with all the problems we have here at home. All understandable, but I think a little naive and short-sighted by my fellow Americans. But I suspect Obama has gotten the message, and won’t aggressively push any kind of peace initiative during next week’s visit to Israel.
Oops, I meant THIS week’s visit. Time does fly.
So why this chimpo is trying to meddle with Israel’s internal policy? (And the situation with the so-called “Palestinians” is solely Israel’s internal matter and nobody’s else.)
Besides, his denial to speak to the Knesset shows his true colors. By doing so, and trying to dictate where, when and to whom to speak, he denies the sovereignty of the State of Israel — a truly hostile act. We are not his 51st state, even though he wants us to be. We are a state with nuclear ability, goddamn! I think it needless to remind that the US has never won a war in its history. Israel, by contrast, has won at least three wars between 1948 and 1973, virtually without any assistance. So we know to fight. Arabs will be defeated once again, even with Obama on their side.
Jim is essentially correct here as far as the American mood is. No American president has ever attempted to lean hard on the Arabs for concessions with respect to the peace process.

My problem with the sign is that it looks like a logo for the “Israel controls America” a******s.
I do not like the man at all, for any reason.
