Dawson’s Creek star and Kabbalah fan James Van Der Beek got married in Israel almost three years ago, and he’s now back with his wife and two children.

And while he has not mentioned this on Twitter, his wife has had quite a bit to say about it.

A friend of mine who works at @DanhotelsIsrael sent me this photo:

Meanwhile, the organization America’s Voices in Israel has brought out a number of celebrities, including Scandal actors Lana Parrilla, Katie Lowes, Guillermo Díaz, Bellamy Young and Adam Shapiro (no, not that one)

Bette Davis is a movie star. Clint Eastwood is a movie star. Hugh Jackman is a movie star, except when he plays that stupid Wolverine character from the comic books. But James VanDerBeek a movie star?!!? And his claim to fame is “Dawson’s Creek?” I know I’m getting on in years but if this is what passes for star power these days, bury my heart in Tinseltown right now. I do like his admiration for the state of Israel and the Israeli people, though.

    1. If they brought Bette Davis to Israel they would either have to rustle up her shade, or exhume her body as she has been dead for some time.

Yes, of course, but even unto death, a star is still a star living in our memories till the end of time. Except for all the people who were in “Friends.” They will all be forgotten except as an answer to some trivia game question.
