   Meanwhile, here is a sporting event much closer to home, Israel’s 2013 track and field championship meet. This video contains a few highlights recorded in stop-action photography. What is most striking is how uncommonly good looking the athletes are, as though they had to pass a Hollywood screen test to qualify. (Well, the male hammer throwers and female shot putters are a little larger than life.)
