This was taken from the boradcast of the FINA Swimming World Cup in Qatar.
Clue: Amit Ivry is an Israeli swimmer.
The answer is here (Hebrew link) if you couldn’t work it out already.
In short, the Israeli flag was not shown, but rather a colorless one
Oh, grow up Qatar! (hat tip: Avi Mayer)
Update: It gets worse.
the muslim women were allowed to swim, sans burkhas?
nuke qatar
Walt,
Them hiding the flag is offensive.
However, them hiding the flag is less offensive than your comment. Qatar, a nation I have no ties to or have ever been to, is home to more than 2,000,000 people.
Hate people on a more personal basis. You’ll be better off for it.
-Adam
I think it’s easier to just round up to the 2 million than to count out each one that hates Israel… it’s close enough.
Yeah man, the tolerant people of Qatar were protesting on the streets against this discrimination.
Yeah dude, I don’t know how people can just say stuff like that
hey adam. when i want commentary from the dhimmi crowd, ill ask for it
Agreed. Such comments are reprehensible. We do not go around nuking countries because there are people there who hate us. Please refrain from making such comments on here or I will be forced to delete them.
Photoshop the flag in so those who use the photo from your site use it with the flag.
Some posters are overlooking the fact that an Israeli swimmer was even allowed to participate. Next, membership in the local country club?
had they banned the swimmer, they wouldve lost all their standing to host world events…
cant have that
This “Qatar” is an artificial entity produced by the British (the same way as most other Arab states). Qataris are not even a nation, they are just a bunch of backwards medieval Jew-hating third-world immigrants ruled by a caveman. They are nothing without Obama’s support. Why they should be taken seriously?
Look who Israel has to play to qualify for the Word Cup. Russia and Portugal. Not exactly neighbors. Seems Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and Iran are allowed to not play them and somehow get away with it. Call me crazy, but I’ll bet money has something to do with it.
