I’ve been working on a project at work to film promos of some of our tour guides in action in some of Israel’s coolest tourist locations. I just got the first two and I think they’re pretty awesome, so I wanted to share them with you.
The first one is Phil guiding at the wonderful and exotic multi-sensory experience that is the Mahane Yehuda markets in Jerusalem:

The second is Bena guiding at the incredible archaeological park dating back to Roman times on the Mediterranean Coast in Caesarea.

Let me know what you think in the comments.
The Shuk has my mouth watering. I always love to go there and take pictures of the fresh produce and baked goods… Nice job. As for Caesarea, my Herzliya cousins have no idea where “Caesar-rea” is when I say it…Qeysarya or Kaysaria, that they know.
I like to call it quesadilla

Caesarea is amazing. Wish I’d spent more time there.
Shuk looks great and the video is good, but the standard of hygiene in Israel, I am afraid, leaves much to be desired. Seeing unwrapped food on ‘open sell’ for anyone to touch and as this video showed, and anyone to breathe all over, is quite revolting. You would be fined here in Australia for doing that.
Ok folks, now get stuck into me for those comments. !!
My personal theory is the cleaner you try to be, the more susceptible you are to germs taking you down. So if you spend your life in a bubble, of course you will come down with something if you eat from a street vendor. If you are less careful, you build up a resistance. Ok, its not a scientific theory, but its seems to have worked for me so far. (Apart from the couple of times I got sick in India and Morocco…. )

Jono,
You may only have “produced” it; but you’ve got great taste in camera/sound & editing persons.
Thank you.

Thank you.
I used to love going to the shuk (before I was in a wheelchair) and those terrific pictures brought back some great memories. I think the films are great. Thanks for sharing them.
Glad you enjoyed it
