Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s remarks Monday, 17 February 2014, to the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations 40th Annual Leadership Mission (http://www.conferenceofpresidents.org/) in Jerusalem, Israel,

followed as have most of Netanyahu’s recent public talks with Iran, with security and peace as major themes.

But there was something new added, as shown in this excerpt from PM Netanyahu’s remarks to the Conference of Presidents, all leaders from North America:

“I think the most eerie thing, the most disgraceful thing is to have people on the soil of Europe talking about the boycott of Jews. I think that’s an outrage, but that is something that we’re re-encountering. In the past, anti-Semites boycotted Jewish businesses and today they call for the boycott of the Jewish state. And by the way, only the Jewish state. Now, don’t take my word for it. The founders of the BDS movement make their goals perfectly clear. They want to see the end of the Jewish state. They’re quite explicit about it. And I think it’s important that the boycotters must be exposed for what they are. They’re classical anti-Semites in modern garb. And I think we have to fight them. It’s time to delegitimize the delegitimizers.”

Sitting next to Malcolm Hoenlein, the executive vice chairman of the Conference, the Prime Minister looked out to the crowd before he spoke.

Delegitimizing the delegitimizers has become almost daily work here at Israellycool,

with BDS blog post after BDS blog post detailing yet another boycott attempt against Israeli services, products, and academics, or the performers who just want to perform for an Israeli audience.

Maybe the PM was looking out for Israellycool, so he could say thank you?

The whole speech can be found  HERE

Nice that the Israeli Prime Minister has joined our campaign, in delegitimize the delegitimizers.

There are alarm bells going off in BDSland.

I invite every one to read through the PM’s speech. Some people don’t realize yet the major weapon Israel has is a true game-changer.

    1. Those aren’t alarm bells, those are jingle bells.
      .
This is exactly what people mean when they say “Israel delegitimizes itself”. While the pro-Palestinian movement is dominating popular cultural, US campuses, academia, and now European businesses, the Israeli-right is blathering about anti-Semitism.

There’s a reason Israel has become so isolated this past decade. While its opponents are articulating positions about Human-Rights and International-Law, Israel is labeling everything that moves anti-Semitic. Such talk only strengthens BDS, and this past decade is proof.

      1. Kane, you are such a common troll, that you can’t even come up with something original, just the same old lies and propaganda that the Arabs have been spreading for the last 50 years. Ho hum.

        1. You radical-right Israeli types don’t understand how hilarious you sound.
          .
“Arab propaganda”? This isn’t an “Arab” thing, its the entire world, as well as progressive elements of the Jewish community.
          .
This is the same as the anti-Semitism canard. You discredit yourselves by shouting about “Arab propaganda”, while those who oppose Israeli policies are a mix of progressive Jews, Africans, East Asians, and Hispanics.

BDS doesn’t need to delegitimize Israel, you guys have been doing a great job this past decade.

  3. So why does the BDS Movement single out Israel for this special treatment? For all the injustices that exist in the world, why is Israel’s alleged mistreatment of the Palestinians considered by this bunch as the gravest of injustices? And Israel is the only Jewish state in the world. A coincidence? That’s kind of hard to swallow, even for a Goy like me.
