In Israel, Command Order #8 is an immediate mobilization order of reservists to the IDF. The difference between this order and a reserve “standard” order is the alarm time before the draft. Command Order #8 is activated in exceptional cases, such as the outbreak of war or when there is an immediate need of personnel necessary for action to preserve the state’s security.

We are living in the era of Command Order #8. This time it must be applied worldwide and it is in regard to the rise and spread of antisemitism.

Antisemitism mutilates. It has taken many forms throughout world history. Contemporary antisemitism uses Israel as its collective target. We are now in a time of emergency again.

Personally I am very worried to see what is happening in this world. The rise of antisemitism has unhinged me.

An opportunity arose to hear Dr. Charles Asher Small, the director of ISGAP (Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism and Policy). Ben Fahari, a member of ISGAP Executive Committee, invited Mr. Small, to speak during Sabbath Service at the Sephardic Temple Tifereth Israel in Los Angeles, headed by Senior Rabbi Dr. Tal Sessler. Mr. Small’s speech shook my core being.

As Elie Wiesel said in 2003,”We are living in a time of emergency.” But then he corrected himself and said, “No, in time of great emergency.” We, Jews, have entered emergency times.

I therefore pursued the issue and have set up an appointment to interview Dr. Small, an expert on the subject of antisemitism.  There is much to tell about Dr. Small, who lives in the United States but was born in Montreal, Canada. He started his organization in 2004 and in 2006 he introduced the Yale Initiative for the Interdisciplinary of Antisemitism.

ISGAP is now operating at Columbia University, Harvard, McGill University, Miami University, Fordham University, Stanford and the latest in Sapienza University of Rome, Italy. He speaks in front of congress, the UN, governments and bodies of influence.

ISGAP offers academic programs, seminar series, published books and research interdisciplinary with focus on contemporary demonization of the Jewish people and the State of Israel.

I have managed to gather some information from Dr Small in order to explain to the reader why we are living in times of emergency. Once again, Jews and Israel are the target of the entire world.

Only few weeks ago, on Holocaust Memorial Day, the headlines of that day were Israel and Apartheid. Alarming it is!

The headlines announced that John Kerry had decided that Hamas is now kosher, no longer officially recognized as a genocidal terror group; the NY Times editorial showed an amazing lack of understanding of Hamas’s intentions and motivations. The EU and the USA have vowed to continue funding the Arab “Palestinians” no matter who they are and what their objective is.

So what is the drama all about? What is to understand?, one may possibly ask.

It appears that once again, when it comes to Israel, the world is applying double standard. All of a sudden everyone has rushed to recognize and congratulate the “technocratic” government the Palestinian Authority has formed with the terrorist group Hamas. For the world, the new mask Hamas and Fatah have put on has deleted the fact that Hamas is a genocidal terrorist group sworn, in its constitution, to the elimination of the State of Israel and every Jew alive, a kind of direct continuation of Hitler’s goal to rid the world of the vermin Jews.

In the United States, the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide article 3 stipulates that any incitement by an individual, organization or state the signatory to the Convention has the legal obligation to pursue the people who violate Article 3. In this case it is Hamas. Now the US is cooperating with the violators, making it complicit to incitement to genocide. The Hamas Charter incorporates the anti-Semitic hoax the Protocol of the Elder of Zion, and in its constitution it calls for the killing of all Jews. “Hamas, deemed by USA law a terrorist organization,” said Dr Small. “I find it astonishing and alarming that the USA State Department is willing to engage with a reactionary, sexist, homophobic, anti-Christian, anti-democratic and genocidal anti-Semitic social movement,” he states. “The Feminists, the Human Rights community, people who believe in democratic principles and the organized Jewish community should be outraged,” he continues. “It is outrageous that those who parade themselves as Liberals are selling out their principles to a short term interests.”

“Hamas and radical Islam must be understood in the West to be as shock troopers for these western, postmodern, anti-Semitic hypocrites and they understand very well what these new policies, implemented by the West, are doing to their region.”

Our universities are constantly becoming hostile to Jews. ISGPA goal is to fight in the battle field of ideas. It offers a program for professors, teaching them how to deal with antisemitism, be able to analogize a map and decode contemporary antisemitism so they can teach it to students.

In Europe: “January 27, 2014 was a very important day in France, where 18,000 people took to the street protesting the government limiting government programs and calling for austerity. The participants: extreme Left, extreme Right, Moslems and other disenfranchised groups, a diverse and diametrically opposed groups, all who called for the ‘Zionists out of France’, focusing on Israel and Jews, which is contemporary anti-Semitism,” Dr Small reports what the US media does not or will not report. Once again the Jews are the scapegoats when society is unhappy with itself.

The European Union lack of action against antisemitism is a disease that begins with the Jews but will not end with the Jews. Eventually society will implode.

In Israel: “Tell the Jewish and the human rights community, we are fortunate to have the State of Israel, a democratic refuge for Jews. We know from our history how important Israel is, because Jews have now self-determination and can defend themselves. Israel is fast becoming a light to the nations, an island of stability in an increasingly hostile and unstable region,” stated Dr Small.

Every Jew alive is a miracle, for if Hitler was successful in his endeavor he would have left the world empty of Jews. Therefore, Israel is a miracle and we, Jews, have the supreme obligation to preserve this miracle and never stop.

In light of the above we now need to strongly question the 2 state of 2 people “solution” so many are so addicted to establish.

My peeve takes me to write about the way Israel is treated, Jews being attacked and even killed, and antisemitism no longer being a forbidden practice.

Let us talk, in clear language, about the antisemitism that is now walking the earth tall.

Remember, only when we see our face in the face of others we become human…

The time has come to move heaven and earth.

There is nothing new about what Ms. Greenger writes. Double standards were applied even before Israel existed and have persisted all along to the present day. Likewise, there have always been boycotts against Israel, and they were far more effective 60 years ago than they are now. What has changed is that Israel has grown stronger, both militarily and economically, so anti-Semites are forced to be devious in putting forth their offensive and count on the ignorance and gullibility of their targets. The vigilance of people like Dr. Small has always been necessary to counter these nefarious strategies.
