    1. You’re way ahead of me (as usual!). We must have been sisters in a past life (please excuse me if I mis-remembered your gender).

      1. Haha! You remembered correctly. I’m shocked about your revelation, though. Would have bet money that you’re a man! Internetz is a strange place 😀 .

        1. P.S. I also assumed YOU were male until I read a comment that made me realise my mistake (I don’t remember which one).

  1. Your boy Richard S has a new post up about it on his blog and it’s disgusting per usual. Some of the comments are even worse.

Whay shall we do with them? Feed them clothe them, access to HDTV to watch the world cup? Why would you want to hold scumbags? But you could extradite them to Gaza!!!

After Kahane’s death, his supporters in Brooklyn swarmed the streets with the blood curdling screams of “Mavet La ‘aravim! Mavet La ‘aravim.” (Source, People Magazine, November 19, 1990; see I have factual information too).

No, Kahane wasn’t a liberator of the Jewish cause and in death Kahane’s ideology became no different than the “bloodthirsty” Arabs in the 1920’s and 30’s he spoke with such disdain about.

I thought I would write this because this post reminds me a lot of Kahane’s portrayal of the Arabs in his 1980 work “They Must Go.”

          1. This post is made up of REAL photos and posts. If you have a problem with them, I suggest you take it up with the people in the photos and the authors of the posts.

          5. WHat? He wanted to pay Arabs to leave. Whether one likes that or not it is NOT the same as slaughtering people literally! Also , he WAS murdered in cold blood as were his son and daughter -in-law. Did he murder any Arabs in Israel? Not that I know of! How do you compare?

          6. what does that have to do with this? they are posting things from arab sources. bringing the cruelty and heartlessness to our attention. I don’t care about his political views. I care about his sources. They are accurate. what are your sources. (oh, and by the way I personally find lots of controversy in what Kahane did and I refuse to support any extremes). We were friends with some Arabs while living in Israel and that does not contradict this. This is not a generalization. This is an accurate news reporting. Nowhere in the article did it mention Kahane, his beliefs. or any support of him. These are all from Arab sources not Kahane sources as you are trying to suggest.

            1. No this is the leftism MO with the Jews to make sure antisemitism continues, they have a set answer in their hateful brain for everyhting.

          7. You have good tricks evil creep. Where on any Palliwood forgery is your comment looking for it? You have a set answer to make sure all antisemitism gets under reported or not at all. Who killed Kahane is that widely known the same person convicted for blowing up the WTC.

        3. The only thing I see here is documentation of actual events in the Arab world, and actual tweets from some Arabs (including, notably, official PA/Fatah publications and FB!) and their supporters. Are you suggesting that these words and images should be suppressed in order to not offend the Arabs?

          1. Mike Lasowsky

Yes, but this blog only ever posts negative things about Arabs. Everything from terrorist sympathizers (as in this post), to tricksters and deceivers (as in some of the posts with the Pope). Frankly this blog is starting to come off as racist.

            1. This is not a blog about Arabs – it’s about Israel. Dick Silverstein is a Jew who gets eviscerated here for his support of terrorism against Israel. Norm Finkelstein, JVP, J-Street, and Medea Benjamin, etc., get their share too. Perhaps Israellycool is starting to come off as antisemitic to you as well?

            2. You clearly are not familiar with this blog. But I am all too familiar with the tactics of people like you, who try to undermine actual research and common sense with cries of “racist.” If you don’t like this blog, don’t come back.

              1. Don’t yousee how evil these antisemite frads are you are a Kahanist for BEING THE ONLY ONE ON EARTH REPORTING THE TRUTH ABOUT THE MUSLIMS WORLD, “kahanist” as he is using it is a tactic to cdnsor you because we are dealing with the greatest evil in human history.

            7. so don’t follow this blog. noone wants you here. this is for people who WANT to know the truth. Not for those trying to deny it.

            8. Yes, but this blog only ever posts negative things about Arabs.

              Regrettably, they provide ample material.

Still, some features about life in the Galilee or East Jerusalem or among the Bedouin might be agreeable leaven. Leaving aside a few Gulf emirates and leaving aside greater Detroit, two of these three make the most affluent concentrated population of Arabs in the world. These are also the most liberal-democratic loci in the Arab world (bar perhaps old Beirut or Kuwait City). The economic, civic, and social life of these areas is part of Israel too.

        8. ML,

As a practical matter, Israel has to contend with the actually existing political attitudes on the West Bank, Gaza, and in the UNRWA camps. These attitudes are given succor across the Arab World, thought that succor is only seriously consequential in the Egyptian case. If you look at the survey research, just north of 30% of the Arab populaiton of the West Bank and Gaza is disposed to settle with their Jewish neighbors. North of 35% understand ‘settlement’ to mean the liquidation of the State of Israel. The human cost of that is understood here. Betwixt and between, there are 30% who want slow-rolled liquidation, where in an agreement actually is signed with Israel, but it incorporates a franchise for a fuzzily defined collection of Arabs to settle in Israel at the discretion of each one. The people here understand where that leads as well.

Now, ordinary people might think it pathological to maintain a set of political aspirations that make no sense unless you can dictate a peace to the other party (something they’ve never been in a position to do at any time since 1917). Stupid pride makes people adhere to strange propositions.

  2. Would it be possible to supply locations for the pictures?

It would be useful to show whether the celebrations are occurring generally in Arab-controlled areas, or only in some areas.

    Thank you.
