Some people like the #BringBackOurBoys campaign, while others think it’s in bad taste or at the very least that the hashtag should consist of the names of the three kidnapped boys, for instance, #EyalGiladNaftali. Personally, I like the #BringBackOurBoys hashtag because to me, it points to the disparity between the do-nothing attitude of the Obama Administration regarding the Boko Haram schoolgirl abductions and the overwhelming wave of prayer and effort by Jews and Israelis everywhere to bring back our three boys.

But we here in Israel have turned her idea on its head, breathing life into what was essentially a dull, dead, and meaningless concept. My favorite iteration of the #BringBackOurBoys campaign is this wedding photo, from the BringBackOurBoys Facebook page.
It makes perfect sense to me. I mean, the whole glass breaking thing is about remembering our sadness in times of joy, right? It is perfectly appropriate then, to remember our boys at the most joyous occasion of all, a wedding.
