Regular readers will be familiar with Hamas’s education program for kids that includes cuddly children’s TV characters with genocidal proclivities.

Children’s favorites like Farfur the genocidal mouse, Nahul the genocidal bee, and Assud the genocidal rabbit, who were each “martyred” by the Zionists.

Now from the Where Fiction Meets Reality department comes news that another of their characters – Karkour the genodical chicken – has been killed. For real.

karkourA Palestinian children’s TV celebrity has been killed by an Israeli airstrike in Gaza.

Mohammed Alareer, who died when his house was hit by a rocket, was very famous in Gaza as he impersonated a mischievous chicken named Karkour in Tomorrow’s Pioneers, a programme produced by Hamas-run TV station Al-Aqsa TV.

The 31-year-old’s brother, Refaat, wrote on the Electronic Intifada website that his death “will come as a shock to the large numbers of children whose favourite part of Friday was watching Karkour misbehave and helping him change into a better Karkour, thanks to their advice, only for him to relapse at the start of the next episode into another anti-social behaviour.

“By killing my brother, Israel has surely killed a promising talent, and deprived thousands of children of a funny and educational program.”

Don’t you just love how the journalist who wrote this story describes him as a “mischievous chicken”? (I guess that makes Assud a wascally wabbit?) As if teaching a generation of children about the virtues of murdering Jews is like sneaking behind the schoolyard shed for a drag on a cigarette.

The journalist also states that he was killed in an Israeli air strike. On the Electronic Intifada website, his brother writes:

My brother Mohammed Alareer, 31, a father of two, was killed by an Israeli airstrike while he was at home. While he was at home.

No one knows yet if he bled for three days or if he died of the shockwaves from the explosion, or the sound, or the debris, or the shrapnel, or the fire or by them all.

Given he was 31-years-old and worked for Al Aqsa TV (clearly aligned with Hamas), it is possible he died as a combatant.

Or allowing his home to be used as a missile storage or launching site.

Or he may have been killed by Hamas “friendly fire.” The point is, it is irresponsible to report his death as the result of an Israeli strike without proof or context.

Update: Not to be confused with this palestinian chicken.

  1. And of course there will be condemnations and statements that this Hamasnik was an “innocent civilian”.

If the chicken has joined the mouse, the bee and the rabbit in the great beyond, what other animals can Hamas turn to? Dogs? They are anathema to Muslims. Cats? Pretty much ditto. Sheep, goats and camels? They may inappropriately arouse adult males. Reptiles? Not looked upon with favor. Weasels? Too obvious. They may be stuck with putting forth a pig. Th-th-th-th-that’s all, folks.

  3. Q: Why did the Palestinian Chicken cross the road?

A: To escape the shelling of the evil Zionist Entity.

(slow ironic clapping from Israelly Cool readership)
