Sloppy Anti-Israel Bias Of The Day (Updated)

Yesterday, an Arab resident of Jerusalem used the wheeled digger he was working on to perpetrate a terror attack, killing a  29 year old man, and injuring 5 others.

This is a caption that appears on the BBC, under a Reuters photo:

reubb  At the same time Orthodox Jews in Jerusalem were burying a man killed in the city on Monday by a Palestinian man who had stolen a bus

This caption might be a result of sloppy editing, and not insidious intent, but the end result is the same: Slanted, fictitious portrayal of events, in a clear anti-Israel way.

Update: BBC have now pulled this image altogether, replacing it with picture an IDF IFV, and have added a short video segment about the terrorist attack at the bottom.

It is true that the victim of this terrorist attack was belonging to a religious branch pretty much opposed to Israel existence? If is true, how the members of that branch think they will cope under muslim rule?

And second, the withdrawal from Gaza was just as I expected – a half-done job, 67 dead soldiers compared with just few hundreds terrorists sent to hell out of tens of thousands, the main terrorist compound left intact.

Probably now they will start pouring in cement for “rehabilitation”, Hamass will not launch missiles for few months, and is back to square one only next time it will be much harder. Every time is much harder, and at one point it will be impossible.

They believe things were better when they lived under Muslim rule and the Zionists came and messed everything up. Nostalgia is a funny thing. I don’t know if this will change their views.

And today on the BBC they claimed that all 1,800 supposed dead in Gaza were civilians and P. Lerner simply let it pass without correction. We need much better spokespeople.

I heard the 29 man that was killed was a father of 5. So sad.
