Unless you have been in a cave (or not on social media, same difference), you would already be familiar with the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, dumping a bucket of ice water on one’s head or donating to the ALS Association.. Celebrities have joined in on the act, with virality ensuing.
Now palestinian photojournalist Fadi Arouri has found a way to politicize it.

He’s certainly poured cold water on the notion he might be objective.
A byproduct of this protracted conflict is that these acts are wearing thin except among the true believers. I think that by now the media are starting to groan, “More of the same old.”
Nice green garden he chose as a backdrop for his ‘water crisis’. Perhaps it would have looked more convincing had he chosen a piece of desert? lol!
Not really into social media, and I don’t live in a cave. But this ice bucket challenge looks so simple, even a cave man could do it, I’m thinking.
