As you may have guessed, my name is Joe and I will be joining the band of merry men and women here at Israellycool. Cartooning is my thing, and I’ll be creating and posting what I believe are eye-catching and quirky political cartoons until someone tells me to stop. I’m honored to be a part of such a funny and original site. I will strive to pull my (substantial) weight and create content fit for a king.
A little of my background: I’m a vaguely nerdy half-Jew raised (and still residing) in Australia. I’ve never been particularly interested in politics, however, somewhere between blogging about collectible toys and working on video games,I “intentionally” became a father and that all changed. Since that fateful day when my son was born and I became Father of the Year, I started to consider what the state of the world will be beyond my own lifetime. I know I won’t be able to fix every political crisis in the world before my son’s 18th birthday, but I am happy to do what I can and make a small contribution to un-screwing-up the world.
