In Gaza, there were many tragic victims of the latest operation. For the children, tragedy really struck home when Muhammad Al-Ar’ir was killed.
Al-Ar’ir was known by the young impressionable children of Gaza for portraying the beloved “Nahoul”, a fun-loving bumble bee on Al Aqsa TV’s “Tomorrow’s Pioneers“. Nahoul teaches the Strip’s youth of important Hamas values such as,
1) Neighborly relations:
2) Making new friends
and
3) …. ?????

These kids have given their fallen hero a heartwarming tribute, from Al-Aqsa studios where the Zionists have “destroyed every stone and every tree”. (Probably for good reason [article 7])
So long, Nahoul. We hardly knew ye.
Aussie Dave adds: Mohammed Alareer/Muhammad Al-Ar’ir was previously described as playing Karkour the chicken, and not Nahoul the bee. So it looks like those in charge of Tomorrow’s Pioneers also “hardly knew ye”!
For Gazans, his death must really sting.
ok Jim: that’s a 10-minute timeout for you for that DREADFUL pun!
That video breaks my heart. Such a cute little 6-year-old and her mind is already being poisoned. (Although I don’t know how much she really internalized it yet, she was clearly reciting what she’d been told to say, and even had to be prompted at one point.)
Errr, sorry for the dumb question, but … couldn’t they just get some other guy to put on the bee costume instead of killing off the character?
But then how could they use his death to upset children and foster their hatred (and really bad recitations)?
Of course. Killing off a beloved TV puppet and devastating innocent children is the responsible, “teachable moment” thing to do! I don’t know why Sesame Street never thought of it.
I thought that the lifespan of a bee is shorter than seven years.
I just started following you on twitter, antiIsrael Douchebag! am really enjoying reading your tweets.
Thank you very much! Hope you continue to enjoy them!
