Terror Attack In France

As you have no doubt already heard, earlier today a group of masked gunmen shouting “Allahu akbar!” shot up the French office of satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo, known for depicting Mohammad and the Islamic state in an unflattering light.

I know what you are thinking. Clearly lone-wolf gunmen who are mentally disturbed, and have nothing to do with Islamic fundamentalism whatsoever. Makes you want to just #ridewith Muslims in solidarity.

Incidentally, this is another of Charles Hebdo’s covers:

Lucky us Jews have a sense of humor. And a belief system that abhors murdering people for any reason whatsoever.

Folks, we are at war here. A war where only one side is willing to acknowledge there is a war. It is (past) the time to realize this and fight the Islamic fundamentalist terrorists with everything we have. Responding with appeasement and political correctness will lose us the war.

You can’t sing kumbaya with those who want to use your heads as the bongo drums.

  1. You have no idea how much this pains me. If I was the head at the UN. I would just deport all the arabs back to their loving countries. Is not little groups. Islam is the root of the problem.

This is what happens when the French (and European) establishment lack all conviction while the Islamists are full of passionate intensity.

  3. Charlie Hebdo….not Thredbo.
Why can’t governments be courageous and demand that migrants or refugees understand that resident status and certainly citizenship is a privelege, not a right. They do not have the right to come to Western countries, ostensibly seeking refuge from their countries of origin, where they claim they were unhappy, persecuted and not free, to then demand to set up their own parameters of freedom and rights. Murdering people in cold blood does not equate to “sacrificing freedom of expression”. (As the odious Anjam Choudary has wasted no time in tweeting!) Just as building homes on your own ancestral land or walking on ground your people have held as most sacred for thousands of years, does not equate to violent crime against humanity. In France, there is no law against caricatures of the prophet or anyone else. There is a law against murdering people, and mass murder is no less if it is motivated by the delicate sensibilities of the religion of perpetually offended. If you find this offensive, perhaps you would be better suited to enjoy your version of freedom in Pakistan or Saudi Arabia, where there are laws against insulting the prophet. Essentially, they are saying “we will take your libertaire, egalitaire and fraternitaire as far as demanding that they apply to us. In exchange we will give you our religion of peace and Sharia and expect you to comply or else.” Europe seems set to commit suicide by strangling themselves with their own social conscience.

  4. This anti-semitic cartoon has nothing to do with Charlie Hebdo and you should remove it. It is signed by Joe le Corbeau. If you google it, you’ll see many interesting links.

  5. France and Sweden are really doing an excellent job of warning us what could easily happen to the rest of us if we don’t dig in and push back.

  6. Poor Muslims. So little self esteem, they have to kill anyone who criticizes or mocks them. Meanwhile, they are the least respectful people in the world in regard to other cultures and faiths.

  7. My condolences to the employees of Charlie Hebdo and the French police who were murdered in this terrorist act. Americans stand with our French allies at this dark hour.

  8. how about “wake up france”?

they have ignored all the muslim attacks on french jews, called car driving terrorists “disturbed lone wolves” and have allowed radical muslims who have fought for isis to return to their shores

i feel terrible for those who lost their lives today….but eff the french surrender monkeys

the chicken has come home to roost

  9. In Judaism also you kill those who insult a prophet. In the case of the prophet Elisha, God sent a bear who cut 42 children who shouted to him, “Go up, bald”. 2 Kings 2: 23-24

    1. As an Elisha I must take exception to that false analogy. “God sent a bear” The widow for whom Elisha drew oil from the walls did not put on a bear suit pick up an AK-47 and indulge in a murderous rampage.
