George Galloway Breaks Twitter Rules

Former British MP George Galloway has recently made the following remark on Twitter:

Of course he is no stranger to strong anti-Israel rhetoric and we have plenty of examples to back this up, but here’s why I’m focusing on this tweet in particular.

Here is one of many examples where George Galloway is using Twitter to openly declare his support for terrorism against the Jewish Israeli people.

Just for safe keeping I’m going to put a screenshot riiiiight… here.

Now, as you may remember from a recent post I made of Ayatollah Khamenei‘s frequent threats to wipe Israel off the map using Twitter, I noted, this is against the rules of Twitter. (By the way, Twitter responded by saying he did not violate the rules.)

As stated in Twitter’s Abusive Behavior Policy (underlines are my own):

Violent threats (direct or indirect): Users may not make threats of violence or promote violence, including threatening or promoting terrorism. Users also may not make threats or promote violence against a person or group on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, age, or disability.

I need the good people of Twitter to please report this user for continued violation of these rules.

Dear Twitter.  Please remove user @georgegalloway for continually promoting violence and threatening and promoting terrorism against the Israeli people.

He has and continues to use Twitter to encourage terrorist groups to start an “intifada” against the citizens of Israel. In the past, an “intifada” has claimed the lives of over 1,137 Israelis and wounded 8,341 Israelis between 2000 and 2005.  The acts of terror included bus bombings, suicide bombings in crowded places, shootings, and stabbings targeted specifically against all civilians including infants, the elderly in all Israeli cities including in supermarkets, coffee shops, public transportation, bars and holiday dinners.  This is what is meant by the “intifada” supported by George Galloway.

If you do not remove this user, we will seriously need to question the validity of your own abuse policy.

Thank you, good citizens of the world.

Based on their response to your petition to ban the Ayatollah, mere importuning is unlikely to get Twitter to enforce its rules. It may take a lawsuit to do so.

  2. Twitter ban or not, Galloway is slowly realizing how irrelevant he’s becoming, so he has to play the “Palestinian” sympathy card to stay in the headlines. This may get him a few leftist/Muslim votes in the London mayoral contest next year, but he’s finished.
